i've skimmed my flywheel and am using 1.8L clutch now. also, using a wider air filter intake plus fuel regulator.

Please share more if you don't mind,

coz I believe my car is time to change clutch as well.

which 1.8L clutch cover/plate you are using now?

Wira/Satria GTi?
*
My clutch is an exedy 8.5 inch for 4g93. The flywheel has been skimmed to suit the clutch.

mine is fine. cost me rm700+ to skim the flywheel and fit the clutch. it is a normal exedy one just that it is a bigger unit as mentioned earlier. no issues even in traffic jam and still light to the foot. benefit is it can take slopes without slowing down much and the power gets transferred to the wheels much better.

So secret huh?  rolleyes.gif
oh ya, forgot about the gear oil.

I used to stiff clutch feeling already,

Too light will cause me don't know how to control clutch..  sweat.gif

HAHA,
What is your spring rate?
12k front / 8k rear? tongue.gif
the moment changed to adjustable memang not used to it,
but now almost 3Years (77k-km clocked),
already used to the feeling already,
but one thing for sure is cannot fly bump loh, haha.  sweat.gif
Proton P/N is different between these two cars,

However for adjustable suspension,

Wira/Waja/Gen2 also sharing same one..  rclxub.gif

yup they need different part numbers so that they can monitor which car model needs parts more. it may be the same item but different part number just for tracking purposes and inventory control.

thanks for your feedback. thumbup.gif

As far as I know the lowest spring rate you can get is start from 4k..
stock Gen2 CPS spring rate is around 2k+ only,
I believe Exora spring rate should be higher due to heavy weight.
When my car 4peoples (including driver) onboard,
I can feel that my rear side become softer..
Maybe after 3years+ used or rear adjustable need to service kot..  ?
But if only me driving, I feel rear side just taste nice.

Got consider about adjustable since you already try few combination of suspension?  biggrin.gif

thinking of changing back to standard springs lah. these r3 springs are too stiff for me... or maybe i'm getting old.

I used r3 spring one day only. My back not made for that stiffness. But those who likes lowered look r3 spring is perfect. One finger only the distance.
*
yes, exactly one finger! rclxub.gif got a set of new sapura shocks. hope those improve the ride.

Last 2 month I invest in stiff ring..so far things felt great. It rectify my pulling to the left steering issue. Factory fitted subframe to chassis is bad, ohmy proton..why u do this??. Now the setting is perfect, hiway cruising is more relaxing.

Handling department become better too, feel like I can full utilize my car handling. Steering is more & more precise, changing lane in hi speed? Even @ 160kmj is nothing now.

If u guys can invest in stiff ring, I recommend so, in my case my subframe is miss align so by adding this, it repairs my problem so I felt it was great. Money well spend I could say. How on earth I don't invest in this earlier.

Bro Ah paul, maintaining a car yes, it could be pain in the arse. But having a healty & reliable car is something else. Also fast some more...huhuhu.
