lai. me teach u suppork! i've seen the world of support for a few month edi. sometimes u need to find ur role. either offlane. carry. support or initiator. depends what kind a person u are.

just try many roles i think. i tried carry and offlane before. i suck so much. too many YOLO!
u play support depending on what kind of hero that u choose too. and how u counter enemy as support. for example if enemy does not have stunner. go for stunner heroes. but if enemy got core carry like lc or naix. go for dazzle. and sometimes depending on ur team mates too. i go mostly CM if my team got ember/invoker (that needs mana regen). and sometimes if theres enemy like tb or naga i go for jakiro to stun them all lol. but sometimes i suck at playing support too. feeders summore

I don't know about those pro player. but this is mostly what i do. early game warding (disable camp). i baby sit carry hide near trees and harrassing enemy. carrying potion for either myself or carry(just incase enemy harrass my carry). wait until he reach level 6. then i go roam, stack ancient, warding and stack jungle (big one). then i go back to my carry and ready to gank (if possible). sometimes u can gank early game(level 1) if u r stunner support like cm & ogre. just make sure that last hit give to ur carry unless carry is too far and possibly enemy can escape. just KS.

deny creep so enemy wont get the gold also one of ur responsible too! just let the carry get all the last hit. and dont keep attacking creeps. if u do so. u pushing the lane. and give them an advantage to farm.
