Sounds to me you're looking for a V-shaped in sound signature.
I'd suggest a Beyerdynamic DT990 or Hifiman HE-400, but it would be over budget for you.

So the next best thing inline would be the DT770 Pro from Beyerdynamic. Now, to get the DT770 Pro may actually be quite expensive. Instead, look for the Kingston HyperX Cloud which is basically a modified DT770Pro with a mic jack. Price is around RM400+.

Otherwise, if you're looking for an open headphone with prominent bass, the AKG K612 Pro and Philips Fidelio X1 is the route to go.

I tried Audio Technica open headphone before, i forgot the name of the headset, but it is not a gaming headset.
the sound for bass for open headphone is not that good. (bass not till giving a small vibration)

Btw, now im using Roccat Kave 5.1 the old one, with an external amp. That gives so much bass.
So, for now, i wanna upgrade it. I dont wanna spend my much money but downgrade the sound.

So, does the kingston gives me good sound?

Wah, your budget big you should go for other audio brands edi, don't need look at Astro tongue.gif

Is a built in microphone important to you or you don't mind having a separate microphone?
*
I prefer with the mic, dont to mess up my table haha.

So, what brand? Audio technica? Senheiser? Bayern?

But i only can affor below rm1k. Mostly below RM999

So, any advice?

Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro + Vmoda Boom Pro Mic. That's all you need.
Will not match the Kave in bass quantity, but WILL (I guarantee you) beat it in quality.
*
So, if i put external amp, will it boost the bass and treble?

Not by much. The COP is an efficient headphone, heavy amping doesn't benefit it significantly. There can be some improvement, but don't expect day and night difference.
*
Oh, so no need external amp.
Btw, what about ATH M-50 since u recommend me a normal pro audio headset?

So, why not ATH M-50?

slightly cheaper than COP. Right?

just google-d,

COP doesnt need AMP. The bass is higher compare M50.

Maybe i in love for COP. LOL

COP over M-50 if you need mic. Obviously a win situation.
*
Yea, maybe COP is the right choice.

Since, COP is already done with everything, no need amp.

Btw, COP comes with mic?

Buy separately... But since I don't need a mic, I just use my Senn Amperior/ HD 600 for gaming. Well, that's before I decided to stop gaming. biggrin.gif

So, any external mic with better choice than VModa? Good quality and cheaper than it

So sum up

COP : RM799 Lazada
VMODA MIC : RM129 Lazada

RM928 phew...

Hey guys, so i just found that, Jaben is selling Custom One Pro for RM599 until the end of september. So i plan to buy it soon.

So before that, may know, is there any software to custom the equalizer to my headphone?

Just any software that can adjust bass and treble. kinda like that. GOT?

For music, yes. Many music players has a software-based EQ.
For other things, you can either use the Windows bass/treble controls (assuming you have one, not all sound drivers supports it) or you can download something like Razer Surround to use their pre-EQ settings.

Although honestly, I don't know why you'd need to adjust bass/treble through software when you can already adjust the bass ports on the COP.

Just in case hahaha.
Btw, so COP will give me the best performance in GAMING, MOVIE and MUSIC ? Genre: hiphop music, dubstep, not to forget the clearity of the music !

You must understand this very important thing, unlike graphics cards or CPUs, there is no such thing as BEST in audio, anyone who told you so is bullsh~ting.

The COP is a very well suited headphone for bass heavy music, this I can say with confidence. But the best in it? Definitely not. There are bassheads who would prefer something even more (as much bass as the likes of a Sony XB700) for dubsteps. Are you that kind of person?

Interms of gaming, I've found the COP to be enjoyable throughout a variety of games. Single player, immersive games with rich stories, yeah the COP provides enough enjoyment without sounding weak or out of place. Similarly,  adjusting the bass ports gave good positional cues in competitive FPS games, although I've found the soundstage quite narrow, but this is only because I'm more of an open-headphones kind of guy.

Then it comes to movies, similar to music, there's just too many genres in movies to say a single headphone would be the best in all of them. No logic.
The COP to me was enjoyable in action movies, but I didn't like it with dramas or animes. This is because the soundstage was just too narrow for me and the heavy dialog is just too fatiguing to my ears.
*
Haha thanks. I mainly use for music. I like the boom bass while not to forget the treble. The clarity is a must since i also an audiophile headphone user b4. But i ask for gaming since i play dota2 a lot, and im gonna use vmoda mic and make it as my gaming headset too. The main thing is, music while im studying. I really wanna hear good sound. I dont like messy sound. Also i also love to watch action movies.

So COP can gimme the full of experience for that? smile.gif

Yes, certainly.

The COP doesn't feel as engergetic up top though. Clarity, it's there definitely. Instrument seperation is good despite the narrow soundstage.
So yeah the COP is a indeed a good headphone for you, since the mic is important too.
*
Btw, my friend just had atm m50. Im gonna try it soon. I read many of reviews said, m50 will be sound likely to COP when COP set to 1 and a half of the bass setting (bass toggle). But, the clearity is slightly better at M50. Is it true?

The M50 is a brighter sounding headphone than the COP, the mids are also more prominent. So in that sense of "clarity" (a very vague term), yes the M50 is better than the COP. The COP however does beat the M50 in the bottom end.
*
Wew, words are hard to describe sound. Gonna try it soon.
But seems rm599 COP while the retail is Rm799. Why not go for it and the cable can be change with the mic. Hmmm. Should give it a try first haha

Thx Lord_darkside and SJben.
Both of u just made my mind up smile.gif
