Should be very good considering that Asus Soundcard is one of the best.

My Logitech G933s was around RM900 in Malaysia and around RM700 in Indonesia.

logitech g230 is a solid headset.. think it's around rm200 on lelong.

it has removable earpads.. means you can wash the fabric after months of use..

you can even replace them with compatible earpads. theyre like rm4 off taobao

Just go for kingston hyperx cloud core.
i got the headset yesterday and have been using it whole night.
The headset do able to fit well and comfortably in my head. (I have a big head which normal motor helmet size couldn't fit my head)

I got it around rm206 in Lazada. I would say definitely worth the price. biggrin.gif

Is this thread still live?

Few years ago someone here recommended CAL2 for me and I like it very much.
Now the leather pad on the CAL2 started to peel off, and I bought myself a DT770 Pro 80ohm, thinking as an upgrade.

The DT770pro performed all right but lack of the bass effect that I like from CAL2.
The way CAL2 deal with the bass is a series of low bass hump(at least on my current setup...).
With the same setup, the DT770pro's bass is kinda like "mid" bass? punchy but short and kind of "thin"? (my current setup has a headphone amp)
Many people out there said DT770pro is a heavy bassy headphone, not true at all, at least for me.

I don't really want to buy another CAL2, so anyone here can suggest a good upgrade from CAL2? with the same sound signature as CAL2.

What Amp are you using? Just so you know, the DT770 Pro 80Ohm requires proper amp-ing for its sub-bass to shine. If you do not hear the low rumbling of the sub-bass from the DT770 Pro 80ohm, then you are not driving it properly, either that or your unit is defective.

Finally someone replied... laugh.gif
What amp would you prefer?
Currently I'm driving it with Xonar DG soundcard built-in headphone amp. Very easy to get a very loud volume.
The main reason I am using this is for it's Dolby Headphone effect, overly addicted to it. tongue.gif

I don't know about dedicated sound cards for PCs but I would've went with the Fiio E10k or Fiio K5.
However, I'm suspecting it could be the Dolby Drivers that is causing the lack of bass. There's a lot of threads out there complaining about the Dolby effects causing no bass in headphones. Also, usually stuff like these you should be asking in the Audiophile Section and for better recommendations over here.

Actually it is the opposite, I get more bass with Dolby Headphone effect.
I did a few research a while ago, some mentioned the low bass rumbling effect is due to low frequency distortion.
If it didn't have any distortion, the rumbling effect would be at minimal.
I'm not sure whether it is correct, but if it is, that means DT 770 pro is more accurate and less distortion...

The main reason I asked here is since I received one good headphone recommendations few years ago from here, and would like to get another good recommendation again.
Not really asking for a "fix" for the bass issue but I don't mind if there is.
