Amber Park certainly looks like an interesting project, more than Grange 120. Both freehold, but Amber Park at least has sea views. But guess which is preferable would depend on what the pricing is like. Amber Park has sea views, though Grange 120 has the advantage of being near Orchard Road, and the Grange area is a premium location.

There is another new project launching soon in a neighbouring precinct to Amber Park, to be called the Antares. Both projects lie roughly to the east of the Singapore CBD (Central Business District). This side of Singapore has traditionally been among the most popular residential areas, possibly due to historical reasons. Perhaps that is why the Antares condo is getting quite a lot of interest.

In the case of the Antares condominium, it sits just off Aljunied Road, at Mattar Road. Right next to Mattar MRT station, practically on its doorstep in fact. There are no major shopping malls within walking distance however, though there are markets and neighbourhood shops nearby, across the bridge at the Circuit Road area. In that sense, the Antares condo is a bit secluded, with its immediate residential neighbours being a couple of rows of landed houses.

The Antares showflat has not opened for viewing yet, and the floor plans are still pending final approval from the relevant authorities. But as this project is slated to possibly launch within the next month or so, we are already taking indications of interest to view the Antares showflat. Do drop us a line if you should be interested. Pricing is expected to be in the $1,6xx to $1,7xx PSF range, though it could vary quite widely between unit types, facings, and floor levels. Essentially the higher you go, the more expensive it gets.
