did some homework, paid celcom centre a visit. talked with their in charge officer.

confirmed powertools open to individuals.

R u saying it's applicable to EVERYBODY (postpaid only) regardless they registered under a company or not...?

Eg. If my wife and I use Power38 + 8Pax Pro, we only need to pay RM38 + RM10? But both of us are not using CELCOM registered company.

Edited : If the above is true, then, might as well don't offer Minutes Plan....

3.5G is still crap whether Maxis or Celcom. Coverage is pretty limited in Klang Valley. But if u're in PENANG, go for 3.5G. With investment of usb data card( RM800 - RM1299) plus RM120/month for 3.5G access, u won't regret.

different phone model, has different interface...

Try call Celcom careline at 1111 (free) and they will send you the setting over SMS (free also).

u r using postpaid or prepaid... if not mistaken, only postpaid user got free mms and video calll... prepaid tarak... hampeh tolll

i never use prepaid until Happy was introduced. Now i have both postpaid (celcom) and prepaid (Happy).

anyway, carefull when u send MMS, sometimes (i think all the time) u will eventually see data charges when u send MMS. Just like what happen to my 1+3 plan. Only videocall is free, but MMS got data charge. When this happen, i need to go to Celcom counter to get rebate. It happened for the past 4 months since 1+3 was introduced.

the same scenario may happen to this promo ... Just take note the date u send ur MMS...

damn. why i never get that SMS yet. sad.gif
using celcom minutes plan.

U don't have to wait for the SMS notification. U can str8 away send MMS and make 3G videocall among 019 & 013 prefixes. But just to double confirm, call 1111 to ensure that ur number is valid for this promo. Most probably the answer is 'Yes'.

im about to subscribe 1+3 plan. any experience subscriber?
*
1+3 is only good if you Video call 24/7... Even though voice call & SMS are free, but if you call off-net (other than Celcom numbers) the rate is a bomb. In 1+3, Celcom claims that the MMS is free, but actually it is not. You have to pay for the received MMS due to data charges. I've been using this 1+3 since it was introduced (about 4 months ago) and using the Video Call features all day long...

Anyway, there is already a dediacted thred for this 1+3 PLAN.

anybody experienced with power tools package? my friend offer me and my gf to sign up power tools package under his company. but i donno which one to choose whether power tools or 1+3 plan. if someone currently experiencing with power tools, can tell me what's the pros or cons compare with 1+3 package? . im not an heavy user. my monthly usage is around rm50-rm60. sms 30% calling 70%. thanks in advance

Here's the deal dude....

Use ur current pospaid account as Primary number for 1+3. Register one supp line under this account. U will receive a SIM card for this supp line. Give this SIM to ur gf. Then, ur gf can either switch the SIM or buy a new cheap phone for the supp line. From here, either of you can call/SMS/video call each other for free for 24/7.

Since ur usage is RM60 max, then don't register for Celcom Exec Plan (CEP). But, even if you do register under CEP, u still can signup for 1+3 as well.

PowerTools has many plans which in the end cost you definitely more than RM5/month for the extra privileges. 1+3 plan is only RM5/month/SIMcard. Of course, always remember there will be 5% government tax on every bill. I wonder, this coming GE will 'eliminate' this 5% 'Government' tax.

Conclusion, if you just want to talk to ur gf all day long, 1+3 is way better than PowerTools.

I am happy user using Celcom 3 + 1 packages free calls, unlimited sms,mms n video calls hehehe best gile

I never manage to get the FREE MMS as advertise. Everytime I get the bill, I need to call 1111 to get rebate of the MMS that they charged on my 3+1 number(s). I've already told them, I never send the MMS to other than the 3+1 numbers. And yes, the call, SMS and video call are all free.... except for that MMS. May be their system is not propoerly configured. This has happened since my first bill on last November.

I read it is because of the gateway you are using in the MMS settings.

i've even brought all 3 h/ps to the celcom counter to do the settings. Still the problem persists. So in the end, I rarely use MMS to send photos/audios.

that's a sad story.

i'm planning to upgrade mine to 3G SIM card too. i have a few questions:
1. any celcom branch can do this for me?
2. any additional fee $ ?
3. is it instant? that means as easy as remove and pop in the new SIM card?
4. do i still keep to old SIM card? can it still be used? (maybe use it when i buy an iphone)
5. anyone makes a 3G video call before? is it smooth/lag?
*
1. Yes.
2. No if it is the first time you upgrade it
3. Yes.
4. Old SIM cannot be used anymore.
5. Smooth depending on your coverage and 3G service quality.

Note : Make sure you backup all ur SIM card database (contacts, etc.) before changing to new one. You can ask the officer to do the backup for you.
