am wondering wat's the reason u ported out from maxis?

Very simple. Horrible phone service. Always dropping line, forever not having full bar coverage, horrible phone call quality especially on highways, e.g. kesas, etc etc. I wasn't the only one complaining so I decided enough is enough. So why not give Celcom a try, if celcom bad, DIGI haha its good for us consumers, the power of choice.

BTW all the Celcom sifus, do you experience this? One thing i love about Celcom is that they have different bands for their 3G and GSM lines, so lets say my house 3G line is very weak, e.g. 1 bar, and when i call and the line goes really bad it automatically switches to G (GSM) and hereby gets full bar. But when after switch, although its full bar, the call might be a bit choppy so both sides cannot hear properly. I have to turn off my dual (auto on my HTC touch pro) mode and then it will be ok. Does not happen too often but nonetheless abit irritating. But I love the fact that it will switch to a better mode for best calls.

Also... do you guys know that until now the 40 hours max per line for Celcom 5+1 package is not in effect yet? I called Celcom call centre to inquire about this to confirm and they told me it has not taken effect yet. So until they inform, its still unlimited voice, video and sms =)

Added on December 29, 2008, 11:55 amSigh... today the Celcom line is really bad. As of this morning, even when I changed to GSM mode already, the line is very choppy. My gf one even worse. Hopefully its only today. I called up the celcom helpline and they could not even hear me properly. Anyone else facing this problem?

Do you mind stating the pros and cons of celcom and digi since you have the best of both worlds?
