FYI if it is not registered yet, the answer will be the same, they will advise you to wait another few hours or days, if still not registered, they will advise you to proceed to any Celcom branch to do registration.
Sometimes phone dealer delay on sending your registration form, if they use SMS method (which I don't know how or is it really exist) maybe network delay or some how doesn't register. My advise is to proceed to branch, normally will be done in 24hours. This post has been edited by Mr Cola: Nov 3 2008, 12:40 PM |

That's what they said to entertain their customer(s). Well, it just my 2cent, I can't confirm whether they really did it or not. If the form is on progress to register, system will never show. CS can only check whether they number is registered, or not. They can't provide more info about the progress.
Try to restart your 019 sim, if it is registered, you can make outgoing calls. |

QUOTE(Eralus @ Nov 9 2008, 04:00 AM) what the h now.. The plan has changed to 40hours free call/sms and etc right AFTER they increased 1+3 to 1+5. No offence, you should do more reference or call careline 1111 to confirm before you migrate to postpaid. That's why Celcom's careline is FOC.for 1+5 plan this is no unlimited call/sms/mms/3g to your 5 sublines.. there is limit now...40 hours/per month for call/3g and 2000units/per month for sms/mms....i just changed to celcom 1+5 plan...and now celcom changed their plan to this...like this better go back to prepaid...stupid celcom...as stupid as tmnet and telekom |

QUOTE(wanz_delpiero @ Nov 14 2008, 09:37 PM) Phone model? Send "SET" to 20999. The OTA settings is not 100% released for 3G yet, but you can try your luck to send it. 3G OTA settings will be available starting 18th November onwards. |

Even if you call 1111 you will do the same thing as I've told you. And, it is not couple of minutes but after 6days or later.

QUOTE(revolnia @ Nov 15 2008, 03:14 AM) yup, not a couple of minutes. They said u will received the setting in 2 days ( minimum ) ! sigh!!! System will auto detect your phone model. Mostly works by 18th Nov.btw by sending SET , do we need to type our phone model? or it's juz automatically detect what hp we're using? LOL! or standard setting? Added on November 15, 2008, 9:34 am QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Nov 15 2008, 03:52 AM) You will understand me when you get new agent who do not know how to send OTA settings or lazy agent who always depend everything to tech helpdesk. And yes, agent will claim call you back in 48hours, that's our current procedure but it's due to high volume of queue, it has been delayed to quite a long time. Added on November 15, 2008, 9:36 am QUOTE(ne0cz @ Nov 15 2008, 08:33 AM) When I activated my SIM, immediately came a message asking me to save the settings next message. So I dont see why need to go manual For famous models like Nokia, SonyEricsson, Samsung and etc, Celcom OTA support their settings but unlike Motorola. Mostly has to do manual settings. PDAs and some China-Made phones too. We prefer to send OTA, it's easy and simple but sometimes it just doesn't work so have to do manual sett. QUOTE(skyzero @ Nov 17 2008, 11:36 PM) yes but if we just call the main line (means not make other call)...so the bill for subline 1+5 plan is rm5?? 1+5 subline(s) has 40hours talk time among them. If you did not exceed 40hours of talk time or the sms limit, your subline bill is RM5 + 5% government tax NETT. |

QUOTE(popeye3rd @ Nov 19 2008, 12:37 AM) i have a prob here. No worries. GPRS pay per use has been capped to RM250 monthly. If she used over RM1k+, she has to pay RM250 only. But since it's first time and not knowing RM0.10/10kb, actually owner can proceed to branch to request them to give discount. It depends on their higher management how much discount will be given or no discount. But worth to give a try. Cheers!not me,my friend actually.he just registered for celcom 1+5 plan last week. then he n his gf using the phone as modem to surf the internet without knowing that the rate for 'pay per use' is rm0.10/10kb. today he just realize that his bill now is rm1.4k his bill just bout rm100++,but his gf rm1k++ how to do huh? can nego with celcom about the payment? |

QUOTE(popeye3rd @ Nov 19 2008, 01:16 AM) After your friend has received the bill, can proceed to branch to request discount for that bill. If the officer said cannot, INSIST for discount! Show the officer pity-ness, tell the officer stories, how poor your friend are, this and that. Wish you luck. Cuz RM250 is not a small amount, so let say they give 30% discount, it's quite alot huh! So don't hesitate to beg them. |

QUOTE(skyzero @ Nov 19 2008, 07:19 PM) 1 thing i dont like with celcom, they always send 'u got miss call bla bla bla...' That's your "Miss Call Notification" If you want to off it, you have to call careline 1111 to request disable voice mail. After disable your voice mail, you have to dial ##002# then you won't receive any notification anymore.my inbox already full with that sms...can we disable it?? |
