Celcom Airtime Share is down ...

By the way, I don't think Maxis/Hotlink has their 014 SIM packs yet right? Or will it be Celcom to be the last in introducing their 014 prefix?

I never reply to all those 'stupid' sms and especially if not 5 digit number. Even if 5 digit number also never reply 'cos waste of money.

I am currently using the package which has RM28 access fee. Calls to Celcom same area are at RM0.10/min and any other number (including Celcom) within Malaysia at RM0.25/min.

I did try migrating to the PowerTools18 package but Celcom says cannot be done. They got caught when doing it when the package was just introduced and now their head office keeps track of everything. The person says maybe in the next one or two months maybe got news.

I also use xPax mostly for SMS and 8pax.

PS - If you are at your PC and have access to email, then you can send free SMS to any Celcom number. To send sms, just type the number followed by @sms.celcom.net.my. I have tried it using 013 & 019 and it works. Not sure whether it works for 014 numbers. Please feedback.

Maybe you can 'flood' that 014 number!!!

According to Celcom CS, they said if you replied, they'll deduct RM8 from your balance.

bluefries:

The package I am using now is actually for corporate customers i.e. staff of corporate customers.

Access Fee = RM28.00/mth
Celcom to Celcom (local/same area) = RM0.10/min
Celcom to Celcom (other areas) = RM0.25/min
Celcom to other operators (nationwide) = RM0.25/min

I only use it because they gave me a nice number (FOC) ending with 000. For making calls, I am using the iTalk Mobile which is fixed at RM0.25/min to mobile nationwide. This way, I only pay the monthly access fee.

Why don't you check out the Celcom PowerTools18 which has access fee of RM18.00/mth. Of course you will have to pay for the call charges.
If you select the PowerTools38 then there is no access fee and the amount goes towards your calls.

Check it out here:

http://applications.celcom.com.my/PowerTools/packages.html

Hope you find the best option for you.
