i m considering between E6600 and E6700..... which one u guys will oc the best??? since it just launched...i only able to see those ES chips results around.... anyone have any idea which i should go for???

well...lets say money is not an issue for this will will u go for????ppl are using quite low fsb on E6700 compare to E6600 as they used the multiplier to boost up the clock...but the one i m buying is not ES version so the multiplier is locked at x10....

yeah i read about the limitation of the mobo as well.... but i will be getting the processor 1st..... mobo i dun think i wll be goin for 975 or 965 chip...i will be waiting for RD600 or 590sli

and can i know waht is C2D...i keep seeing this word
i saw a thread in XS it says that retail E6700 is multiplier unlocked as well...is that true???

x10 multiplier is easier to calculate clock speed
now i just wanan know if its unlocked downwards on retail ones or wat .... and i will be goin for air cooling...

well.... i will run oc speed 24/7 but not the max one la...find the max oc speed bench then lower down everything liaoz.... still oc but not the max lo... well 400x9 = 3600 but 400x10 = 4000 wo~~~ if can get that speed who dun want?

from all the E6700 ES chip i see all of them are hitting like 350 FSB only whereby the E6600 most of them could do 400....this is wat worried me.... is that true that E6700 cant hit 400 fsb?

well.... i will be getting fatbody from team...so memory speed is not a concern as well...my concern is which can clock higher

well if i m not mistaken P5B DLX or even vanilla P5B OC better than P5WDH and P5B DLX doenst even need to mod whereby P5WDH u need it..... and the fact we wanna get DS3 or vanilla P5B is because we are waiting for the BLOODY RD600!!!!! thats why we are looking for a temp mobo for the 2 babies....i warn u guys dun call them monsters anymore...they are babies!!! sweet, cute and sexy

well guys...plz give more suggestion on the temp mobo for the both of us...after we bought this 2 babies we are kinda broke liao >.<
now we are looking at Asus P5B and Gigabyte DS3...any other good mobo that is good and dun need to do vmod one???? coz P5B only offers 2.1v vdimm...thats dam bad >.<

current SLI 590 is not good ler.... need to wait for the new revision...i like RD600 because of the Independent overclocking feature
so i ratehr wait and get a lower price mobo 1st ...i dunno still considering

hey guys mind to share ur idle and load temp of ur overclocked c2d ar?? i got some weird problem here....
1.3125v set in bios @ 3.2ghz... the temp is like 60 degrees in air cond room.... and i tried intel stock heatsink...it was shooting up to 83 degree at idle!!! i wonder if something wrong with my proc

my setup is at my sig ma...anyway i m using scythe mine + fm121 fan but its not on full speed

my default idle temp in non air cond room is 47 - 50 degree...i dunno what is happening now
