my fren with DS3 got some problem
1. Cannot boot without CD in the CD-ROM drive. Will freeze at post screen. Will boot like normal only when there is a CD (any CD) inside the drive. 2. Cannot overclock from BIOS. Setting will reboot to default speed. Overclocking is only possible through software in Windows. The only thing can change in BIOS is just the RAM divider and timing. Any changes to the FSB (not even 1MHz) is possible through BIOS.
DS3 has been flashed to D4.

QUOTE(Bliz @ Sep 7 2006, 12:59 AM) Guess mind telling if the patriot memory from the bulk order patriot PSD ddr2 is any good? I am thinking of getting the PSD ddr2 667, is that any good with gigabyte DS3? I am not expecting any hardcore OC out of it, anything over DDR2 800 is good enough Not worth in my opinion. somebody mentioned that there's a lot of Kingston DDR2-533 (1GB modules) using D9GCT at Lowyat, perhaps you might want to survey around. The Micron chips are easily to be identified as they're not relabelled.
