Saw something on ExtremeForums where someone (Asus fanboi?) dismissed the DQ6 12-phase power as fake - it's only 6 phase while the Asus P5B Deluxe is a true 8 phase.

I think i saw a description of this throttling mechanism and how it works in the C2D datasheet on intel.com while trying to find API to read CPU temp.
