Just got some results to share, first post here: Super Pi 1M - 18.453 E6300@3.15GHz, 450 x7 / Gigabyte 965P-DS4 / 2GB DDRII-900, 4.0-5-4-15 / Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Don't know why my results still slightly slower than - prescott - even i use a tighter timing, RAM is OCZ Platinum XTE... Will try to OC more when I'm free, still at stock voltage... what is the highest that one could go on stock voltage with a e6300? Attached thumbnail(s)

Hehehe... - prescott - as in the member's result in the front page ... Not literally Prescott processor... Btw, I realise something strange here, the vCore is set at stock in BIOS, 1.225V... But in CPU-Z and Everest, the voltage shows 1.184V... How come this happens? I already disabled all the voltage 'throttle' thingy in BIOS. I checked all the power rails are still relatively stable, within a difference of ~5% Yeah, I was quite suprised that it can do 450x7 stable at stock, might even be lower than stock since the lower voltage i pointed out... Mine is a Week29 Proc...

QUOTE(ddww @ Nov 8 2006, 11:43 PM) wow.. looks really nice.. 3xPCI-Ex16 any idea how much $$ would it be at the first month of release? http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo...roductID=491417I can get it now in UK, but too poor to afford it~! Hahaha... I'm happy with my DS4... The price in Malaysia will be around RM1200, should be 170x7 = RM1200 (which is fairly accurate most of the time since Malaysia has no tax), if buy in the UK will cost 200x7 = RM1400!!! The most expensive mobo to date~! £169.49 Ex VAT £199.15 Inc VAT

Btw, does anyone of you guys experiencing any severe VDroop using DS4? In BIOS, my Vcore was set to 1.225V. Hoever, the vCore (as shown in CPU-Z) is only at 1.184V when idle and drops to 1.168V at full load on both cores using TAT. However my e6300 is still fully stable running at 7x450 (tested for 24hrs). Not sure if this is a general issue or it's only happening to me...

QUOTE(blaxez @ Nov 9 2006, 05:06 PM) It's perfectly normal if you have EIST or C1E enabled. They are all disabled... Maybe it is as what hellokitty says, the vDroop problem is with the DS4 as well... I think it does drop quite a bit compared with what it is set in the BIOS. I'm just worry that there's is something wrong with the MoBo or the PSU... Any DS4 user here to confirm>?
