for those that want to use the stock n/b heatsink and improve the temp performance, you can try this method

QUOTE(yehlai @ Oct 10 2006, 06:48 PM) wao ur E63 @3.332FGhz.... Yes, starting I added the voltage follow by vFSB -> vMCH -> vCore, then, I found there is no temp diff in my n/b if I set +0.1, +0.2 or +0.3, so I just put max for my vFSB(+0.3) and vMCH(+0.3). did u increase vFSB -> vMCH -> vCore ?? u increase vDimm?? how u know your RAM not stable?? Normally, ppl will recon using software like memtest86+ in DOS, memtest in Windows or using Bleand test from Prime95/ SP2004. Test it for long run, 24hours recon by most ppl. For me, I took anather alternative way(fast and reliable), I will use those software to test my rams for maybe 1-3hours, then I'll start play games, eg Battlefield2(it used RAM resources HELL alot). You will know your ram not stable when you played battlefield 2 for 1 hour+, coz it will definatly will crash Evogenix This post has been edited by Evogenix: Oct 10 2006, 07:14 PM |

QUOTE(yehlai @ Oct 10 2006, 08:35 PM) So ur max voltage increase is +0.3 for vFSB, vMCH and vCore... the max vcore I gave just 1.45v @ 3.360GHz, where the temp loaded at 70dCelcius, so i decided decrease back to 472x7 @ 1.425vcore. Now doing folding for a almost a day, so far so good (<60dCelcius for dual client folding). U know how much is your limit?? or u just watchin the temp to make decission?? Im really not dare to increase voltage like u ppl.. because i dunno how much my mobo and proc can take... Evogenix |

QUOTE(noobianz @ Oct 11 2006, 11:33 PM) dude...i hav experience lagginess for almost 2 sem at my apartment bcoz of torrenting.Iit is LAN based torrenting not like normal torrent tat UL n DL speed usually 10kbps(depends on seeders)...n guess what, imagine if i UL 10 or more items on tracker(if include other ppl torrent it can be more than 20)...n with no upload limits, the seeders is around 20 per time...imagine,w/o no UL speed cap....ur proc transfering 10mbps++ for each torrent u Uploaded....it really stressed my proc, furthermore my proc OC'ed and running 24/7 for almost 2 sem... LOL~!!!your pc seem like busier than those torrent tracker that seeds tons of animes movies. I wonder how lag will their pc would be? Dengar lah cakap olang tua... Olang tua tu screenie oso posted up liao, still dont 1 believe lagginess as you mentioned not acually cause by proc de, maybe you lag of RAM resources that will used up your hdd paged file, which lead you to the lagging exp. Even you download/ upload, your proc will not stressed to the max. it will just used 10-20% of the proc usage nia. You think the proc so free calculate every single bits of files you transfered meh... Evogenix |

Great!!! BIOS F7 fixed my 475fsb above post-screen freezing problem
now 480fsb, 1 hit boot edited : just dont like the new BIOS's warning msg, "System voltage is not OPTIMIZED!!!" when you change the voltage setting manually. Evogenix This post has been edited by Evogenix: Oct 12 2006, 10:37 PM |

QUOTE(coolice @ Oct 13 2006, 11:52 AM) comfirm not ram..it can go much more higher..550mhz 5-5-4-9 @ 2.15v IIRC,it d9gkx mine got almost the same problem last time, but, for my case, it stucked at 475fsb, try to flash to F7 BIOS, see any improvement o not @gengstapo wat u mean? its very stable 450fsb at 1.3375,but i cant go further even increase my vcore.. sorry...previous post got error..bluring this morning..haha i tried my e6300 on my fren's ds3,pump with 2.4v vdimm.. vfsb and vmch all +0.3 vcore straight away set to 1.45v,475fsb..same as in my biostar p965 deluxe, cant boot up btw..using chiplak watercooling + zalman NB cooler even mosfet stick with ramsink edi..for ram,i don think need to cool down since just 2.15v..but when ds3,i did use fan to blow it.. BTW, the most important part, disable those C1 and EIST. If those selected, it will stop you at lower clock speed. Evogenix |
