QUOTE(ddww @ Aug 28 2006, 12:53 AM) i'm using F4 bios also... but not having tat problem ler... i set everything to default (vcore - normal) my vcore varies between 1.1~1.328max but not reaching 1.4 ler... me on F4 oso, i think this kinda version of BIOS is the best compared to the previous release --OT--// how much u bought the 76GE GFx arr?? QUOTE(irenic @ Aug 28 2006, 02:48 AM) well thats good then.. bcoz last time i managed to hit 3.2ghz with E6400 & ds3 with f4 bios with everything at auto/normal but everyone at xs were saying that f4 bios set the vcore automatically to 1.425v yess, mine were 1.42V & i think i know Y the DS3 put 1.42V value to the vcore. this is might becoz i Disable the C1 & EiST thinggy This post has been edited by gengstapo: Aug 28 2006, 07:18 AM

QUOTE(remysix @ Aug 31 2006, 09:46 PM) mem divider? ofcourse...dont think my KVR wif KTC chip can do >1000Mhz one... ran the 32M wif default vcore...well i presumed 'Normal CPU Voltage' as per BIOS is default voltage...1.3v...cpu-z showing 1.376v...easytune showed 1.4v...tonite, b4 sleep gonna run the Orthos at 3.3G... my ram is limiting my OC...managed to run 1M at DDR970 only...will post the screenie later...now using my lappy, smoking at the balcony i guess i know what items i need next: a DDR800 ram and prolly a good HSF...typhoon or ninja? ya laa kinda curious leh becoz after e6300 reach passed the 3.2Ghz barrier, it need atleast 1.47v-1.5v to stable. mostly i c 1.5v above to feed more juice

QUOTE(remysix @ Sep 1 2006, 08:56 AM) active cooling???just 80mm fan will be enuff, rite...i put on 1x80mm blowing directly to the ram and another 80mm to the NB... now passing 7hr mark...another one hour, gonna stop it and let it rest a bit...and then put some more juice to the ram, and push to 3.4Ghz this is fun! yepp 80mm fan enuff de but the prob is, i dont have the holder for the fan even side panel oso dont have, so ady order from our moding pro here hope can trigger more fun ps : hoping my giagantic psu wont bottle neck, ady runnig 120mm fan x3 & 80mm fan x1, all is high speed wan..

QUOTE(remysix @ Sep 1 2006, 09:53 AM) i dont think u psu gonna make any complaints...he is the Coolest Giant ever btw, for ATX_12V-2X (check ur manual), u plugged it in using 4-pin or 8 pin. dont know what it will do but from the manual it will supply the power to the CPU...so if using 4 pins...2 pins will be for +12V...if 8 pins, 4 pins for +12V. i plugged the 8 pins, just to make sure the CPU got really enuff juice. Update: another 4 minutes to reach 8 hrs priming err.. for the ATX 12V, i use the 8pin connector since it stick together.. while the single 4pin, i make it to connect the 24pin(20+4) my setup ok ka??

QUOTE(ddww @ Sep 1 2006, 10:34 AM) yeah.. kinda high. 472x7=3GHz?? typo is it? wah.. stock vcore.. tats really cool.. got 8 pin connector mer?? its original sticl together? but the CPU power slot only 4 pin oh.. he using divider la prend, sure no need alot vcore yeah, i connect the ATX 4pin using 8pin(another 4 extra) connector from my psu becoz it has onli 1 dedicated 4pin(from psu) which i combined wif my 20pin to make it 24pin i thinks its should be ok but the prob, i afraid later it will loosen since the 8pin punya tempat sangkut kenot sangkut to the 4pin ATX..
