After graduation, I could remember sending out about 10 - 20, and yet, all I got was one miserable call from a company (name withheld) who literally cruicified me during the interview for various illogical reasons.

That was when I decided to screw job applications and opted for free lancing. I had lot's of time freedom, but couldn't get enough contracts to support myself.

3 months later, I got a call from a company which I hardly applied. Apprently, I was spotted through some online job matching sites (JobsDB or JobStreet).

Just when you think it's over, the unexpected show up.

Cliche, eh!

i only submit one application so far.. consider myself luckly i got it..
Usually when the hiring manager call you up for on-site interview. he will let you know what company, which position you going to be interviewed for, what things you need to prepare, what you need to study before the interview and the interview schedule.
Is one and the half hours interview session consider long?? Some of my friend's interview only last for like 30minutes.

1.5 hours is slight above average for normal interview. It depends what do they ask during the interview session. And 30 minutes is not the shortest neither. My last interview lasted merely 20 mins (excluding filling up the form and waiting for my turn). Btw, I failed to get that position. So it's not a good sign to have short interviews. smile.gif

Actually walkin interview is not consider a real interview for the job position.. it is more like a chit chat session..
My friend who attended the intel walk in interview. the interviewer din even ask her on technical question.. what he ask was.. where she from.. how's uni life.. what sports she likes to play.. and etc..

It's best if you keep track of the jobs/links/deadline of the jobs you applied to. I even kept every single letter/CV I sent in because you may need to refer back what you sent.

To date, the longest ever interview I attended to was one whole day. From 8 in the morning until 5 pm.

Also, copy and paste application stands a lower chance. Try and tailor your CV to every different job smile.gif
