QUOTE(braindeath @ Jan 28 2015, 08:09 PM) Hi, Hi braindeath,May i know whether this dashcam can be plug into powerbank? I mean using powerbank as it power supply? And the only way to watch the playback is by connecting it into the computer? Tq... Yes, it can power using powerbank and record! The DVR does not have internal storage and it use MicroSD. So you can either connect to pc using USB to read or take out the MicroSD to read. You may directly play in the DVR too. Thanks. |

QUOTE(Unseen83 @ Jun 1 2015, 06:34 PM) hello, im noob in this xx so when i install this into my car.. do i need to set it up ? when i install it switch it on.. can i install and forget about it.. and only check cam when i accidentally hit something ? Yes, once you setup for the first time then can just forget it.It will auto turn on when the car start and will auto delete the old video. You only need to check when have recorded any interesting thing. But this DVR is capacitor model, no battery inside. So it more suitable for daily drive car than weekend car. Why capacitor? With capacitor based dash camera there are almost no worries with overheating issue or exploding battery (Does not mean battery model will explode!), no risk of last file not saved. The only drawback is setting of camera might lost after long period of time no use (3~5 days++). Then you have to set the date again. Why battery? Price cheaper. Setting last longer. |

QUOTE(brandon68 @ Feb 18 2016, 11:05 AM) Hi brandon68,There is sample video in the first page. I personally use the battery version DVR DF01 for 2 years++ and still using it. I always park under the hot sun without cover it up. (Not recommended doing this Just the battery is weak after 2 years and I replaced it. For this DF01C which is use capacitor (not battery) won't have this problem. Thanks |
