So, Miri is mere boomtown or it will have long term growth (if O&G gone)?

not boomtown at all, it have its own natural growth, bruneians and intl eco tourism even the decline of O&G, still Miri track history is longer than bintulu.

dont forget sarawak before malaysia formation first real oil was found in miri proxy 104 year ago..by Shell. smile.gif

Miri could upgrade itself be the training center for O&G and other research related with it. Just a matter of time.

for bintulu its clearly MLNG, without MLNG, bintulu would be in decline state as sibu now as sibu history still with the route to interior sarawak and timbers.

guess the timber tycoon forgot about sustainability and left nothing for this town who also gave their own first wealth growth
