It is confirmed Unify, maxis and time has throttled MangoTV, the maximum speed could get is less than 1Mbps. To watch MangoTV, pls start the China VPN app to bypass the trotlling as mentioned in the getting started email.

Alternatively, you could use other preinstall apps to watch Chinese TV series and movies.

It was on and off for couple of months for Maxis and Time, now maximum speed with Mangotv is less than 1M. But after install the VPN, the speed increase to 6M.

I believe not a problem, you can try. Kodi 15 is on the way, if you have no problem with current version, I would advise not to chase behind the version.

14.1 and 14.2 just minor release update. Practically, we don't encourage to update if your current release already stable. Kodi development is very active, you will be very busy if you follow closely every release update. The latest development version already 15 beta.

Sorry for my late response bro. Himedia remote could operate by cursor or mouse pointer. However the mouse pointer only move vertical and horizontal, no diagonal.

Some apps are designed to use cursor operator some apps using touch operated such as popcorn time and Showbox. Best apps like Kodi could operate by both cursor and touch. To supplement your remote control, you can plug in any USB PC mouse to assist you to navigate.

As mentioned in the getting stared guide, pls do not upgrade when first time use, some time the upgrade will enforce the block mechanism. Get familiar with the apps and backup the APK before you upgrade.

In step 4, you should see the Himedia box detected on your iPad screen. If not please double check your network. Both iPad and Himedia box should be in the same network.

Dear customers,

Small tip for you if you are not aware about this. Long press HOME button on your remote control for few seconds, you will see the below screen :



The screen serve two functions :

1). Press the clean up button will force close the apps still open in order to claim back the memory.
2). Press the left right button on your remote control, switch between the apps that were open earlier.

For ipad, just do the air play mirror from your iPad to your TV as mentioned in the earlier thread. Please PM where you stop if you unable to do the mirroring.

For laptop, I presumed your laptop is Windows, first you need to share the movie folder in your windows. From Q16, you goto media center -> LAN and search for the share folder of your Windows folder.

You can turn on/off 1080p24 in Q16 native player, but I'm not sure this answer your question. Anyhow, I have play many Bluray files in the Q16, I do not see any problem with the blueray picture quality.

1). Yes, we preinstall common streaming apps to watch English dramas/movies and Chinese apps to watch HK TVB drama for both Mandarin and Cantonese, China and Korean dramas. You could stream from website as well.

2). I do not recommend to play game with Android box so far unless you have compatible USB wireless joystick. To watch you YouTube and youku, just to be noted that youku has Geo restriction control.

3). The advantage of Himedia box is it support wide range of audio and video codec. You can use it as media play support BDISO, BD3D, BDMV, DTS HDMA, Dolby True HD Atmos and etc.

4). As well as iptv service support Android device you can use it. Pls check my buyer reference guide at the beginning of this thread. Some iptv service is good, some crash randomly.

5). Air mouse is optional, you could replace with PC mouse as well. Play game is not recommend as mentioned earlier.
