Hi everyone,

My main is a WD but I'd like to start gearing up my monk.

Any suggestions what would be the smart way to do so?

So far what I've been doing is farming blood shards with WD and letting monk use them all for set items.

Kanai will convert yellows to legendaries once I have most slots filled.

Am I missing anything?

Also, what is the easiest (most forgiving) gearset for a newb?

Read people say U6 is fun but not great in coop, R6 is strongest but boring, but healer (Inna's?) is the easiest to start. Accurate?

Yup, easiest is to start with a heal monk. You only need a few piece of Inna. Can craft the rest easily. You don't even need ancient or good stat. It's very forgiving. Whenever possible, get CDR and regen in all slot. Even if you can't, keeping the party alive is easy at GR60 or so. Most importantly, every party need a heal monk. You will be able to upgrade the rest of the gear easily.

For higher GR, 65 and above, swap Leoric ring with h Zodiac.

Once you got bored with Healing, and have enough good gears, try Statix Monk.

With the right party and gears, you also can do Sunwuki/EP monk with Furnace. This is also very good in speed GR farming.

For fast mat/bounty farming, consider this perma-dash R6 build.
