And is it any better than the first two in terms of plastic quality, transformation, etc?

I felt the same from the moment I got Heavy Noisy (don't have Air Burst or Sly Strike yet so can't comment on those).

The transformation, engineering and plastic quality are unrefined at best.

In fact it's not even fun to transform because of the stress you're forced to put on the plastic. Pulling out the arms for instance: freaking scary!

And I guess this is kinda nitpicking... but the bad English on the packaging and documentation (e.g. "SEREGEANT") just feels like a poor reflection on the company's attention to detail. How can they let that slide when they know thousands of their customers are English speakers?

The one saving grace for me are the aesthetics of the bot and alt modes. These things look pretty damn good.

As HxiiiK said hopefully the combined mode will be worth it in the end. Or at least good enough to display, because I'll never want to take it apart once it's done.

nope..that was really the retail price.... when i saw it it was a huge box with Generations written on it...it tot it was a clone of Henkei Jetfire we got few years back...so i didnt buy it...till i saw the review just now.... 

btw i also got the takara AOE leader prime for sgd 90...which is still cheaper than the selling price in malaysia...

I know Hasbro will try release as much G1 Masterpieces as possible (with sleek design)...while 3rd party companies will release Giant Robot-like designs (bulky design)...like predaking n Devastator..

Prolly 3rd party will release this Star Saber...

btw, issit just me or this Star Saber reminds u of Macross plane designs? haha

Ok aku tunggu poison.. The one in rakuten is dissapointing and lack in detail compared to the movie..the collectible figure don't need to transform lol..something like the ironman action figure batman etcetc which have good detail

i'm not worried about the color scheme, he looks great
but some reviewers have pointed out that he feels lighter/cheaper and hollow.. i'm concerned he may not have that heftiness usually associated with a Leader class figure
