So i just bought a new iphone and had restore it from my previous iphone backup. My old iphone was used to sync to my old laptop which now had been damaged. So how the heck to sync my new iphone to a new laptop? When I try to sync, itunes prompted this warning. Is it will erase all of my data? I want to sync songs cry.gif Attached Image

You'll definitely lose your data. Only thing you can do is go to File > (don't know which submenu) > Transfer purchases. This will only transfer all your apps.

Or, you can go to your iPhone page and hit backup now. This will back up your data but not your media. I recommend doing both, and then erase your phone. Then restore it back.

If you're talking about sync-ing music, it will definitely delete all your music list/ music from your iphone due to iTunes only recognize one list.

And as you mentioned, your old laptop is damages/spoiled, if you can take back the data from the Harddisk, you may still find the iTunes folder and copy to your new laptop. As inside will included the library and music(if your music is in iTunes)

All data will be deleted? Including camera roll and apps? I havent try it. Is this the correct sequence?
1. Backup manually on itunes
2. Go to music and sync
3. When the warning prompted, hit erase and sync
4. At this point my iphone will be like a new iphone, no data
5. Restore from backup
6. Sync music
