seriously, what is weekly salary Chelsea been offering? if around 90k to 100k per week, its consider high already. this footballers are not relying on weekly salary only. they had sponsor, become sports equipment model la, etc etc. greedy much? hehe. Cole, he had few commercials last season, earn extra money also. This post has been edited by eeki: May 21 2014, 02:47 PM |

QUOTE(Ichighost @ May 21 2014, 02:50 PM) must be lower than 150k maybe football is not like rat race workers, more experience more salary. different culture.yap I know..but we must consider that he can get more than 150k if he move to another club..but he insist that he want to stay..so we must give him the best possible salary within our capabilities and wage structure..plus this contract might be his last contract before he hang his boots. the players have to accept this worst scenario. they want legendary status, they may have to sacrifice money. |

QUOTE(Ichighost @ May 22 2014, 03:26 AM) Could we see Bamford in the first team next year? ![]() News on a loaned out striker! That isn't Romelu Lukaku! Step forward Patrick Bamford: Because I was doing well at Derby and I’d done well at Milton Keynes, [I went to Cobham for] a discussion about that and the planning for next year. They were hinting at a new contract but I don’t know yet what’s happening there... From what they’ve said, ideally I’ll be third striker, but you never know really in football. Hopefully I get a good pre-season, especially with the World Cup, because a lot of the big players are going to be away, so it’s going to give some of us youngsters the chance to get some game time to try and show him what we can do. Source: Guardian Which... well there's some interesting stuff in there. The first and most obvious is that Chelsea have apparently already started talking about bringing Bamford into the first team, a move that would, I suspect, make more or less everyone happy. And Bamford himself seems perfectly content to play as third choice, which I imagine I would be too if I was a 20-year-old Championship striker. I'd suggest reading the whole interview -- Bamford's a fascinating young man, and it really shows (and he has some fun stories to tell as well). But the meat of the news is that if all goes well we could be seeing him fairly regularly with the senior setup next season. Exciting. Source : HERE QUOTE Bamford told The Guardian: 'Niall from One Direction is a big Derby fan, he came down to the club and I was talking to him. 'Niall said: "Mourinho knows all about you, he texts me all the time." I said: "No he doesn’t." He showed me his phone, and because he was doing his treatment at Chelsea, for his knee injury, he knew all the Chelsea boys and Mourinho. 'And he had texts from Mourinho whenever I scored, saying "Bamford again!" That made me smile. That was the first time I knew that Mourinho knew about me.' looking forward for this guy next season. highly rated youngster, english somemore. |
