Honestly I couldn't care much for tonight's game as it is quite hard for us to win the league title, especially playing at Anfield. Their devoted fans are known for the capability of causing a gamechange. I'm more looking forward to UCL semi final @ our fortress.
Put all the second string, lack of match fitness or banned UCL players in this game, put all concentration @ UCL instead. We put up a good fight despite lacking of a clinical striker, I am satisfied with us having second or third spot. |

QUOTE(Iceman74 @ Apr 27 2014, 02:04 PM) Chelsea didn't appeal. Chelsea won the case in Court of Arbitration for Sport. I believe you are wrong Lol did you not read?http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ga%C3%ABl_Kakuta The club stated that they would "mount the strongest appeal possible" and described the behavior of FIFA as "extraordinarily arbitrary decision". Chelsea believed "the sanctions are without precedent to this level and totally disproportionate to the alleged offense and the financial penalty imposed".[7] Chelsea appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, who subsequently lifted the sanctions on the club and the player after ruling that Kakuta did not have a valid contract with Lens, and therefore could not have breached it. Chelsea's transfer ban was suspended later in the same year, and was lifted in February 2010. Transfer ban was first suspended before it was lifted. As for Barcelona, they appealed to FIFA first but Chelsea went straight for the Court. Barcelona have pledged to pursue a further challenge at the Court of Arbitration for Sport if, as expected, they lose the initial appeal at FIFA. If Barca's appeal was rejected by FIFA it is very likely that they will receive the same suspension of the ban from the Court before any final judgment is made. Will the final judgment be the same? I don't know but there is no question that the temporary suspension will be made regardless. This post has been edited by Cloud0890: Apr 27 2014, 02:17 PM |

The ban announced on 3 September 2009 by the FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber & ban until January 2011. Chelsea appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport(which nothing to do with FIFA) straight away and was lifted in February 2010. During Court of Arbitration for Sport session, U think FIFA dare implement the ban. If lost the case, Chelsea will sure sue back. |

come on guys, unite against Uefalona. Pool will be playing in UCL next season too. If the transfer ban is implemented on Barca, it's good news for us.
Anyway, if given the chance, which will u guys (Chelsea fan) choose? To do the unthinkable and win the PL or win the CL? inb4 both. |

UCL for me. That's the most prestigious title in the world of club football competitions. I don't mind if we constantly getting 2nd spot or 3rd in EPL but winning UCL consecutively. Anyway, if given the chance, which will u guys (Chelsea fan) choose? To do the unthinkable and win the PL or win the CL? inb4 both. I think the only team in England that won EPL and UCL together was Man Utd. No one did win that together. This post has been edited by Belphegor: Apr 27 2014, 02:43 PM |

Was just saying the suspension will be given regardless and not because of bias.Anyway, if given the chance, which will u guys (Chelsea fan) choose? If you have been reading the news you will know Platini and Blatter are not on good terms. Will Barca escape unscathed though? I'm not so sure. They seem to be in deeper trouble than the one in Chelsea's case. Silly question! PL or CL?! Of course CL! So much prestige in CL and so much money!
