thats their target, UCL place. so to achieve the target with the throne in sight is still a major feat if you ask me.

I do agree that BR naivety let them slip of their deservedly 3 points, but as I said he might want to lay his hand on the title and hence trying to win it by goal difference.

discussing their fate this morning like we are the ones who played it, hahhahahha

I don't know what you guys think, but I see that BR is still not good enough to be Mourinho's apprentice. In different situation you need to use different tactics, even if the tactic is not the so called clean ones. 3 points on the hand, I wouldn't lash my tactic to all out and leave a loophole in my defence. That we had to give credit to Pulis for being able to spot it and exploit the crap out of the loophope.

Sometimes dirty is the way to bag 3 points. Forever aiming for beautiful style of football is just a myth. I had never seen any club able to play beautiful football and win the games constantly, not even Barcelona.

why is that so? mind elaborating bit?

Man Utd is already long gone away from the EPL champions during mid of the season. But Liverpool, they made everyone shock and got into title contender when they were only trying to get to top 4 and get back into Champions League. Liverpool were given hope to win the title in more than a decade by themselves and the hope was destroy merciless by us and then Crystal Palace.

Honestly, I really hope that they could win because I'd like to see Gerrard holding the trophy. But damn they just give it up like that after leading 3 goals.

Did not watch the match...but once I wake up. tengok livescore, I told myself, karma is a butch. laugh.gif

Tu la, BR dun simply say defending is easy. Right after saying it. it the next match then concede 3 goals dy. whistling.gif whistling.gif whistling.gif

Defending requires real discipline and focus. Don't simply say parking the bus is easy. laugh.gif

Btw guys....I noe we'll feel dat karma is a butch. Thanks karma for hitting back at BR's mouth for his awful comment at us. For saying playing to defend is EASY. Let's not forget we lost to CP 1-0. laugh.gif CP is quite strong tbh under Pulis.
*
Karma is seriously a b1tch. They thought parking the bus is easy. What they didn't know is to constantly focus on being attacked and putting concentration all the time is not an easy task.

if we manage to get extension on courtios's contract to another 4-5 years, loan him back to atm, and get discount on costa  wink.gif

if not sell him with a buy back clause.. or share ownership  hmm.gif
*
Share ownership is not really something England or Spanish team do. Buyback clause, I like. tongue.gif

Costa, do we need him? We need someone like Suarez. Imagine this lineup;

Cech/Courtois
Iva Cahill Terry Azpi
Matic Luiz
Hazard Oscar Schurrle
Suarez

Our attacking force will be having a massive boost on someone with the caliber like Suarez.

suarez is an unrealistic target. but im agree on a mobile striker with good technical skills will boost our attack by two fold.
*
Of course not Suarez, I don't think they will make the same mistakes after Torres.. laugh.gif But someone with the caliber of Suarez that would be nice. There's where Lukaku can step in if he can increase his pace; else it's just like another Torres. :/

at this point, i dont think lukaku is the solution. watched everton game quite often this season. kinda think he is a ba type of forward. strong forward but lack pace. same goes for costa. dont think he is the one we need.
*
Spotted on. I share the same view as you as well. Lukaku is not the type of player we need. He is more like a poacher.

We just nid someone who can score from inside the penalty box. Someone who is always available in the penalty box. Someone that can play quick 1-2 with our trident and continue his movement FORWARD.

Falcao really ticks all the box...but he injured. Duno if he'll ever be the same after recover from injury. sweat.gif

Btw, SOME Dutch league 30 goal + striker tipu punya. To name a few....

Bas Dost (now in Wolfsburg), Björn Vleminckx (now in Club Brugge), Bony (now in Swansea), Huntelaar (now in Schalke). All duno why play in mediocre club only. The only exception is of coz Suarez who is now at Pool.

Kezman did not live up to his reputation too when he left PSV. Need to scout this Finnbogason properly 1st. laugh.gif
*
The other league is totally different from EPL. It's moreto physical and more challenging compare to other league. Can't really justify if they can be performing like how they use to in their respective leagues.

If we sign Bony, it's around the age when we sign Drogba. Can he be our next Drog? brows.gif

I still remember when manunited and chelsea were fighting for mikel. he was such a great prospect that time. too bad he turned out not as good as he touted to be.

anyway, selling him might be a good decision for the club.  smile.gif

QUOTE(hazif22 @ May 7 2014, 12:47 PM)
imo he is good..
juz our formation dont suit him..
i think he could take the makelele role well..
but our formation now need the DM also involve in attacking much..
that is his downfall..
*
When he joined us, we needed a player to fill in Makelele's spot. He was an attacking midfielder and was forced to be defensive one. When representing his country he is on the attaching midfield role actually. It's more like we destroy his instinct as an attacking midfield. :/

It's pretty sad to see Kaka did not make it to squad. :/ I thought this could be his last WC appearance and was looking forward to see him samba shirt. sad.gif MvG got called up, good luck! Hope you perform and get more appearance next season! wink.gif

Btw, just to double confirm, even if Norwich win the last game they will still getting relegated right? The goal difference is.. uncatchable.
