So, in a nutshell. Preferably a Cherry MX Blue keyboard, 5 Keys rollover and above(or maybe not). Usage, for typing and light gaming.

I do not have a budget range in mind yet. I am just looking for 1 right now. I want to know where can I buy one of those and price. I prefer something like in the video below, Tt eSPORSTS Poseidon Illuminated.

QUOTE(ntw @ May 6 2014, 03:06 PM) i have not seen anyone selling the Poseidon in Malaysia, no reviews from local tech blog whatsoever. the best i have come across are the TTesports Meka and Meka G1 here>> https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2601176/all and the prices are a shock! do u mind sharing what makes u like this keyboard so much? the design are almost the same as any of the keyboards i have suggested, feature-wise some are as good if not better, and most are in stock if you really hand-itchy to get one MKB The price is the only reason which gets me this interested in it. LOL! That's why I am hunting for it in here. Plus, Linus is a really good reviewer. Whenever he says something that's good, there is no way it's not.UPDATE: the linus review video showed the keyboard to be selling at US$ 79.99, but the price has now returned to US$99.99 |

QUOTE(zennasyndroxx @ May 6 2014, 03:47 PM) hmmm. take ducky or razer like samsung and filco is like HTC or something. samsung more popular whereas HTC is good as well but not as popular. So, what I should I get instead? I prefer Cherry MX Blue the most, or maybe Red but not that much as Blue.you can ask the people who used filco here and they will vouch for filco |

QUOTE(ntw @ May 6 2014, 03:53 PM) maybe u should refer to linus review on the newer model of the poseidon, thats the poseidon z, and then u LOOK CLOSELY at 1:10 or u can refer this post Obviously I am not that into keyboard switches stuff. I only know I like the clickiness of Cherry MX Blue, and I have also seen that Poseidon Z video. The reason why I don't care that much about it is because, I am afraid it doesn't give me the same clickiness I want as Blue.if u dont really need LED, rosewill rk9000 and the filco majestouch are the model u should be looking at. QUOTE(justnits @ May 6 2014, 03:50 PM) filco has solid quality but no led Okay, I will look more into Duck Zero Shine.ducky quality *might* not be as good as filco but it's pretty close and has led for cheap but decent quality without led, rosewill rk9000 (if these still have stock around malaysia), i don't recommend the rk9100 with led. the spacebar row isn't fully standard. get ducky zero shine if you want cheaper keyboard with decent quality and led. |

QUOTE(wildwestgoh @ May 6 2014, 03:59 PM) If you're seriously in a budget, get CM, I haven heard any failed products from CM so far, but I'm not so sure about the latest product switches though, hope that they will keep using Cherry switches. Okay, right now I have a roughly RM200+ to RM300+ budget range in mind. Preferably Cherry MX Blue, once again. And I am not that much of a hardcore blink blink fan, so I think I will do fine without LEDs.Ducky is also a good brand, except for their fail LED might be a turn off for some, so get one without LED so you won't feel disappointed. Just a side note the failing LED in Ducky is quite low, if you're a hardcore blink-blink fan then go for the LED. Me, I got myself a Filco TKL, love it so far, the keyboard is so solid that I can't really feels the tactile feedback from MX Brown compare to CM QuickFire Ultimate also MX Brown. |

QUOTE(darkskies @ May 6 2014, 05:36 PM) Seems that it's a bad place to shop for something you want in Malaysia sometimes. Couldn't agree more with you. Most of the PC/Phones related products I wanted are all available only through sites like Amazon and eBay in Malaysia. It's kinda like a pain in the ass sometimes, especially when ordering for stuff through these sites. You gotta worry for the parcels when they're on the way here, if it's lost, we can do nothing about it.When u are in need of them , every dealer out there sang the same tune. Been looking for ducky shine 3 mx brown and orange led. None had instant stock. It's more scarce then panda dwelling in the wild. |

QUOTE(justnits @ May 8 2014, 12:14 PM) Kailh switch have reputation of having weaker durability. I heard Linus said that Razer changed to the new switches, which are Razer's very OWN SWITCHES. Why Razer is claiming Kailh switches its own?they are afterall, imitation, kinda like cetak rompak of the original mx switch. i wouldn't buy them, hence i wouldn't recommend that to anybody but i'm not stopping anyone from getting it if they still want to get it after knowing the risk (risk here is risking having your switch stem breaking apart when you want to take off them keycaps) i rather top up my budget and get one that is really good just in case you don't know, the new razer blackwidow green switch and orange switch are using kailh switch |

QUOTE(0168257061 @ May 11 2014, 04:55 PM) I don't know much about Filco. As long as the keyboard is around that same price range and it is Cherry MX Blue, and maybe has a few media keys(Play/Pause and etc.) on it, then I am fine with it. Mind sharing any models of Filco here? |

QUOTE(0168257061 @ May 11 2014, 05:18 PM) Filco only has a few model. Then, I think I'll have to just go with CM Storm Quickfire TK Ultimate. It's not like the keycaps on it are that easy to spoil right?Majestouch 2 and Majestouch 2 Ninja. Difference in keycaps. One is top printed another one is side printed. Filco is a very simple keyboard, no media keys. Top notch quality, no other manufacture is better. It is a bit on the expensive side I guess. i dont recommend quickfire ultimate is because its keycaps is not standard in size. kinda hard to find replacement. |

QUOTE(quovadis123 @ May 11 2014, 05:40 PM) Because there are 1 or 2 guys in this thread in one of the previous pages told me to go with it.QUOTE(0168257061 @ May 11 2014, 05:43 PM) depends on how u think. What's the price of IKBC F104? It cost USD109.99 on eBay. That's what I found, on Google. I will head over to TaoBao later, kinda busy right now.if you think ur spacebar become so oily like rm30 keyboard over the year. then you go on with it. there is second hand filco in garage sales. you can find easily i guess. else i suggest ikbc f104 it is kind good. but can only buy from taobao.com i can help on this though. |

QUOTE(quovadis123 @ May 11 2014, 06:13 PM) I believed they recommend you Ultimate instead of TK. I will most probably not go with Filco, because of the price. For CM Storm QuickFire, I will just go with whichever that is cheaper. I think it's the TK version that will be cheaper right? Here are some pictures of each model. QUOTE(quovadis123 @ May 11 2014, 06:26 PM) By the way, which layout you like? I will never go for Tenkeyless. And I prefer Ultimate full layout more actually.Full layout - QuickFire Ultimate 96 layout - QuickFire TK Tenkeyless (TKL) - Filco TKL Layout is important. Each layout has different brands and price too. There are a lot of brands of there. |
