There's no boot up display on my LCD but the fan is spinning and the power led is lit, sometimes the had led will lit as well but the monitor is blank, stand by mode

Sometimes after hitting the reset button it will switch off by itself and turn back on a few seconds later.

The fan for the processor is running.
No beep sound from the mobo even when it's running fine.

Wah seems like it's either the mobo or processor that might even cause black screen then really dunno what to replace d

B4 start need to ask some question :
This pc new bought?
What kind processor and how old ?
Have you chck your wiring or the correct installation pc ?
Do this happen suddenly?

The fan running which means circuit is fine.
Motherboard don't have any beep sound and mobo power led is light on.
Then is ur processor is playing you..
You can also try to verify proccesor is dead by using other pc or can go computer shop to verify for u.

i have encounter this problem alot.. try this :-
1. check your RAM.. try to pull out and put it back into ur mobo.. if u got eraser, try to rub at RAM pin..
2. check your Graphic Card.. do it same as no. 1..

i hope this may help.. thumbup.gif

P/S : if u going to do this, do clean your CPU unit as well.. icon_idea.gif

Intel C2D E8400
Nvidia GeForce 550xt
4 gb ram
Asus P5QLE

Mobo n processor quite old d as you can see its c2d

It has been going on for a few months but still manage to run after hitting the reset buttons a few times.
Sometimes the screen will just hang or it will reboot by itself or blue screen. After resetting there won't be any display like the problem I listed above and I had to let it "rest" for a while before it works again lol. No beep no nothing.

Hitting the reset button sometimes will cause it to switch off by itself and it will turn back on a few seconds later.

Seems like its e processor dying and not the mobo isn't it
