Hey guys, planning to build a new place. Trying to get a sense on what water tanks are available out there. Appreciate some guidance on what the difference is between ss, pe and fiber tanks. How much capacity for a typical home and how much they cost normally. And what brands are recommedned.
Also, much appreciated if you have some thoughts on piping for households. Thanks!

Original house comes with 400gallon poly tank, unknown quality PVC pipe. If want maintenance free and lest head ache, go for poly tank, run poly pipe(or AC pipe which is more expensive and health issue may be a ?). Considering our water supply issue, I prefer to have minimum 2 tanks.

My contractor has quoted me the following for water tank, I wonder if anyone has a different price where the difference is about 10% (more or less)?
Volume: 300 gallon
Poly (Plastic): MYR 1,680 Stainless Steel: MYR 2800
with installation
Thanks in advance.
