I am using desktop for basic usage and play 1080p videos.

I'm poor and is looking for a processor that will last longest possible (basic usage). I believe that will be the one that is most overclocker friendly.

Sifus, please advise on a overclockable CPU

Mobo will be MSI, chipset dependent on advised CPU.

The last time I'm in touch with desktops is 2003 and now and I see 4 Generations of Intel chips (I am still trying to locate AMD CPU in my hometown, no luck so far)

Reading on the materials online, mostly outdated ones involving Ivy Bridge and Sandy Bridge. Haswell not much materials but reading up on LYN threads now.

better go for i7 and min2GB gc and 6~8GB ram. lol

Cheaper overclockable Intel Haswell(4th Gen) CPU is i5-4670k...around RM700+-

yea, my old 2003 rig also can do 720p with max clock now..

i should set higher goal.. ok, aim for max relevant technology life span of machine...

Idealtech, Dotatech, Cyntrix, hikari85 and few more seller here is reputable for online shopping bro....you can buy it thru postage. But if u still insist on Intel build, it's still your choice....

Add: MSI FM2-A55M-33 only RM179...
