Depends what ministry one is involved in.

IMO the teachers need to be trained properly in the science of biblical hermeunetics. Otheriwse you can have all sorts of mis interpretation as well as interpretation.
*
True also. I think you also a theology graduates, right? biggrin.gif

QUOTE(de1929 @ Sep 19 2014, 05:07 PM)
if the church can do the spiritual mapping before sending evangelist to pioneer a church should be manageable imho.

identify devil's local structure such as:
1. how many massage parlour there ?
2. how many criminal record / kes jenayah in local city ?
3. how many disease / death record for babies
4. how healthy is the city
5. how about people income. are they poor, abnormal poor or are they rich / abnormal rich.

i just wonder those churches that send minister to orang aseli, does church simply sending people or did the spiritual mapping analysis before sending them ? just curious.

i did respect churches that send minister to orang aseli okk... peace  thumbup.gif
*
wow, didn't realize this way to analyze. i think our church is more toward population. to send church to highest population cities first. nice one

Wah if that's the citeria I can confidently say my place is the tong sampah of KL. I know there small churches dotted around the area to minister, though I don't know how effective they are. Can't expect them to really do miracles due to the sheer size of the tong sampah.

How tong sampah? Prostitute den right across police station.

I think of the challenges in our country is that Malaysian muslim cannot be reached out (or converted) to and majority (60%) are Malay here. Pray that one day there will be changes of law in this country. But I heard there are some underground muslim converted Christian here.

Second: have you heard gossip / rumors that when somebody build your property / nearby property and there was accident, that people died ?

the idea of blood spill on the ground is a major key entry for devils to hold the land. The land nearby where blood was spilled, is a cursed land. Cursed land exhibits higher crime rates, more divorce for family, prone to sickness, frequent dengue case (mosquito), higher divorce rate, a lot of accidents, prostitution, regular tense / fight, and many other curses.

there are more questions for me to ask so let's start with this  :)
*
is this considered as superstitious? :-D I think devil is everyway

So you believe that without proper medication/treatment (conventional or alternative way), any types of diseases / health issues can be cured just by prayer?

Different case different resolution. In this discussion, i would like to limit to just and just only scoliosis. Not with other disease such as cancer / tumor.

Both conventional doctor (MD) and alternative (such as massage / chripractor) tells that scoliosis cannot be cured. the calcification for adult above 20 years old are completed. Meaning our scoliosis is permanent. Unlike kids under 10 years old, braces are still possible to correct the posture but i am not 10 years old anymore.

Knowledge gaves up, i go to supernatural. My earlier reply has more details :-)

feel free to ask anytime ngai  smile.gif

Scoliosis in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is caused by kidneys. Bcoz TCM theory says kidneys control bone. When u have weak kidneys u will develop bone disease. To treat scoliosis u must strengthen the kidneys first. But if too bad already the shape it cannot be rectified but it can only be prevented from further deterioration. In western medical definitely there is no cure bcoz they don't even know the cause.

Bro, are you attached to any Chinese Medical Halls?
How do they charge? I'll keep you for future reference.

Myself is more toward nutrition and wellness holistic. Next month or so, I should be starting my one-year Diploma in Nutrition already. My partner is specialized in TCM diagnosis which I do learn from him. If you want to consult him, it is FOC. PM me if you need his contact.

nevermind lah, forget about it.  biggrin.gif

Not worth to pursue, IMO.

Hurt Christians will hurt others.
Loved Christians will love others.

That is why God forbids us to judge others.
There is a place for judgement but not in this manner.  smile.gif

TheAccount, this is what I observe so far. I might be wrong. So correct me if I am wrong. smile.gif

You might have some input towards some people here perhaps including me. Just that, the way you deliver this input is rather blunt, harsh or without love. Some bitterness and negative thought toward some people are observed too

Yes, we shouldn't keep quiet or be people pleaser but God pleaser. But there is a fine line between just taruk kaw-kaw another person because you see wrong in another person vs you speak the truth with love (want the person to beaware of that person's mistake or blind spot and want that person to realize and change to be better).

And when we have done our part (say speak with truth in love) and that person still didn't see it, we just gotta continue to do so. Some people need more time to 'see' it. I take some long time to realize my sin of price (self justification) when my brother in christ pointed that to me.

And if that person after realize the mistake/sin, but still do not change, then we just need to pray for that person and surrender (this is because we could not control another person to change). Prayer could move people heart to change.

And while doing that (speak the truth in love to help another person), be aware of your own heart too. Be aware of not to fall into self-righteousness, proud, Matthew 7:2-4 and without grace and etc...

Galatians 6 (btw I read NIV) - Doing Good to All
6 Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. 2 Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. 3 If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves. 4 Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else, 5 for each one should carry their own load. 6 Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor.

7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers
