I know I sound cliche (and I hate it), but once your heart in a sincere path - things somehow will be much easier than you expected.

Gonna married this July simply because I love that (amazing!) woman and want to avoid degrading her with all these activities that nowadays couple think its "norm" - and somehow I get 35k rolling out from nowhere and all the family members cooperating to handle the whole walimah.

I am extremely agree that faith alone is insufficient to survive in nowadays world, but completely disregard that aspect in your daily live will cause you to less happier than you should.

I am quite uncomfortable discussing about this openly in /k because I know how low they see this aspect in daily life.

agreed with u. Before this, although my salary was more than enough, but somehow by end of the month i always felt like getting short changed. When the day I decided in my heart "i'm seriously going to take this girl as my wife", somehow everything made easy. Somehow I'm able to save at least 1.5k per month, and after selling my bike, able to save further 2k. My future in-laws also set 15k as hantaran. I don't know what miracles have brought me, but i managed to saved up the 15k for the hantaran + 10k+- for the misc stuff like dewan, pelamin, baju, dulang etccc. My parents helped a lot as they covered the catering part which cost around 15k as well.

With less than 2 weeks to go now, balance in bank left with 1k laugh.gif but well, everything else have been paid and covered. We already got our new rented house and slowly buying furniture. But my in-laws will return back 5k to me from the duit hantaran for us to start our life blush.gif

I don't know whether it is true or not, but when we set our heart to marry that girl, people said that God will show the way. I guess it is true for my case smile.gif

A moment of silence for our fallen single and awesome single brother who was ***** whipped into selling his bike and he has all grown up into a fatherly man who will work 8 hours a week, come home and do nothing but to sleep and be nagged day in and day out. May he be prepared for what is to come in a few years.....Kids.

Sorry mate I just have to do it. Anyway congrats on growing up into adulthood. Kinda sad you shed your biking days for a homely man. Sigh...everyone has to grow up sooner or later right?

Yup.

God showed the way for humans to spawn more humans to buy more cars in 20 years and pollute the sky more and more.

All the kids will be fed to this pyramid. Thanks for being a servant of hydra.
