Can someone advice me on POSB vs DBS? I googled and found out that POSB is a subsidiary of DBS. Why they don't merge it under one name can d doh.gif

http://www.posb.com.sg/personal/deposit/es...er/default.page

http://www.dbs.com.sg/personal/deposit/esa...rs/default.page

Both offer the same thing "For S Pass/EP Holder".
My question is...

Do I need to get my EP card in order to open an account? Or I can just open with the IPA from MOM?
Besides that... There's another type of savings "For All Foreigner"

http://www.dbs.com.sg/personal/deposit/sav...rs/default.page

http://www.posb.com.sg/personal/deposit/sa...er/default.page
Both also mentioned no deposit to open. Just that one 16 years old, the other one 12 years old... doh.gif
Then... There's a fall-below fee. For "EP/S Pass" just Average daily $1000 but for "All Foreigner" is Average daily $5000.

Need someone to shed some light on this. Thanks!

posb and dbs for me it's the same.. you just need your malaysian IC to open an account... whatever amount is acceptable as deposit... you will be charged a month fee of $2 for atm withdrawal of more than 4 times in a month... and another $2 if you dont maintain a minimum of $1000 in your savings account at the end of the month... smile.gif smile.gif ..

Btw, Singapore food sucks to the max... Even you pay a premium at an exclusive restaurant.

Dammit, especially that satay bihun... WTF!

How you guys survive with the food here?
