QUOTE(IwanAGP @ Sep 21 2014, 09:34 PM) According to the link it should be... Degree holders who can't find job = No class Anyway... I think depends on industry la... For me in construction, as of my experience, a fresh grad degree holder is just like a medium between lower class (construction workers, site supervisor, site coordinator etc) and the higher class (the boss and client) Like the fillings of a sandwich For executives position they do not prefer degree? i see the qualifications are mostly degrees and above.. or does it means chances are very low for those who have a my degree gets an exec job in sg... *Note : i mean in finance/accounting industry I do know that they prefer acc graduates with professional titles like CPA/ACCA, but just wondering how about a degree graduate who is applying for exec job in medium tier firms/MNCS? no chances? Any advices/opinions are appreciated This post has been edited by ViLenG: Sep 27 2014, 12:15 PM |

QUOTE(zephyrus9999 @ Sep 25 2014, 10:25 PM) Been working here for a year+.. Means a year I did not touch my car and go back frequently.. Honestly $$ drives me, some of my peers contemplating to return back get married, family all. But I dont care, not family orientated. Perhaps the only thing i miss is driving. Been taking bus to work all while haha.. How do you guys cope with this? Stay emotionally mentally strong, at least for 5-10 years stay near office + take taxi as needed > drivingyou still can go back MYS once every month and speed on MYS highway <3 btw, got my PR approval This post has been edited by HenDa: Sep 28 2014, 12:57 PM |

Hi hi. Just wanted to ask everyone who's moved there, I already have my IPA and will be going to Singapore this weekend. I'll probably get my EP end of next week, read somewhere that it takes around 4 days after the company HR request for the EP to be issued. When arriving in Singapore what do you put as your length of stay on the white immigration card?
Thanks! |

I once fill up the white card and the immigration officer kinda question me why still fill up white card. I think they have it in their system. |

Hi bearbear, yes application approved and next week will be there to collect the card.you should have a letter stating you are allowed to work in Singapore already, use the letter & don't need to fill up white card. I once fill up the white card and the immigration officer kinda question me why still fill up white card. I think they have it in their system. Hmmm ok, well in any case like you said if its in the system then the officer will just tell me when I'm at the counter. Thanks for the info! |
