to slot in materias will be costly depending on how much u want to slot.
it is better to ask in game.
depending on the item, u will need a crafter to help u socket the materia.
i dont suggest u do so atm unless u are using an ilvl90 crafted item cuz below those will be not worth the gil.

and when u say game card, do u mean full game digitally or just a topup card?

have you unlocked or entered Coil of Bahamut.
The 1st Coil of Bahamut there is T1-T5.
what i mean is Turn 1 , Turn 2 , Turn 3 , Turn 4 and Turn 5.
once u have beaten this you will unlock The 2nd Coil of Bahamut which is currently the toughest in the game

you dont need to beat the extremes to unlock the 1st Coil of Bahamut cuz this was before the release of Extremes.
you just need to have beaten the hard modes.
if u already have ur Relic weapon means u already beaten all the hard modes.
So all you need to do is, go to Vesper Bay, Waking Sands and go see Ulrianger.
he will give u the quest to unlock it
