I plan to use my ps3 controller playing ff14 since my ff14 copy is windows copy, possible?

Anyone manage to use PS3 controller wirelessly to PC?
I tried so many hours using the Motion Joy but still cannot work for the Bluetooth method, only work with USB cable.
Anyone can share?

can let me know whats your USB dongle brand? I think its my USB dongle problem

I tested 2 dongle, using betterds3 + ds3 tool

1) first one, after usb controller done, I unplug the controller and controller still connected to PC thought bluetooth, but it cannot send message to PC (this problem seems to be this dongle do not support Bluetooth feature 39 Enhanced Data rate)

2) second one, which can support Bluetooth feature 39 Enhanced Data rate, however when I unplug usb from controller, it cannot connect through the Bluetooth.

Ahh, wasted money for 2 failed dongle, hope you can share your working brand

Mine is Killer 1202n, but i think as long as bluetooth with edr it should work. Problem lie within driver. That's it.
If your dongle have edr but not on driver list, it useless also.
With betterds3, you can totally dispose of motioninjoy, but do extact the driver first.
mine on window 7.

use your dongle with edr.

there is no easy way to install driver.
first go to motioninjoy program file get the driver file. Filename is something like MijXinput.inf and MijXinput.cat

then open device manager, check your bluetooth adapter hardware ids

dont close it, open mijxinput.inf at the same time. At .inf, Scroll down to bluetooth dongle section. find the hardware id correspond to your bluetooth hardware id in device manager.

If dont have, manually add one for all bluetooth section. Imitate the pattern and save.

next, connect your ds3 and manual point the driver to modified MijXinput.inf.

Then, for bluetooth driver manual point the driver to modified MijXinput.inf.

Do install driver for ds3 first then bluetooth driver. Not another way round. Everytime if not working, repeat this 2 step.

open up your betterds3. it should see it. Try to play around the setting. Report back whether working or not.

PS: config all to xbox controller to enjoy vibration.

Ya EDR it's the must feature

Tomorrow I will go change my spoiled EDR dongle since I found my iphone can't detect it also, hopefully it's going to work

better try use cable first see if it can see in betterds3 then try wireless. Fill mac if necessary.

need bluetooth 3.0+ or its better bluetooth 4.0
but this 2 bluetooth dongle is expensive

Edit: this card use more power. Check if your laptop can support or not.
i suggest you check and confirm really not bluetooth problem. It kinda waste money.

ok paid RM30 to the china developer motion joy, they deserved it to develop this software

time + petrol + parking wasted too much than this RM30

heard them say b4, the asus one can support
but i still prefer use usb cable

inb4 nvr donate for freeware cause

Oh great, after second tried on this it works Bluetooth, working in emulator
my first try fail because I skip some microsoft installation, my fault

case resolved, just have to wait my FF14 code
