Normally we bring her back from babysitter there about 7pm and she went home can sleep for 1 hour +- but when reach about 1am she will wake up and don't want to sleep until 4am +- only can sleep. This already happen about 2weeks, previous no problem at all to sleep at night. Really want to find out the solution, what can i do? rclxub.gif

Hi there,

Try reading one of my posts ; https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3189700

You can try using white noise to lull your LO to sleep, works on my daughter great ever since I tried this. Make sure LO is calm first !

If your baby behaviour remain same ( happy, good appetite, etc ) dun worry too much, baby sleeping routine are keep changing.
try to ask the babysitter how does she put the baby sleep, some baby need songs to sleep, some needs white noise.
Its quite challenging as a parent as we need to trigger out the solution on our babies....but i like it...lol

That's why parents become zombies in the morning. lol

If your LO does not have any issues (i.e. not feeling well) then just let it be. Its not like we can force a 5months old to sleep anyway. Your LO is still exploring. Its just a passing phase

Same with me. My lo is now 6 months old. She will sleep from around 7pm and wake up during midnight to play for few hours rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

So what we do, now we dont allow her to sleep so early. We will play with her until 10pm and then only let her sleep.

Now she sleep soundly from 10 pm until 6 am everyday icon_idea.gif

OP, baby might have those growth spurt? This can be near those months' age for the babies.

Another one, check if baby is teething by feeling the gum. My baby hasn't really teething, but she grabs anything to bite and her gums are a bit red at times.

Try either Orajel Teething Tablets or Hyland's Baby Teething Tablet.

I tried the Hyland's one for baby, only 1 tablet, and she got less meragam and easy to sleep. She will wake up per normal from time to time for her usual bf lah, but at least she is not as cranky.

We were feel like crazy zombies when she turned 5 months, so don't worry, your baby is fine.
