Hi All,
My wife and I just had our first consultation with Dr. Tan Ay Eeng. We are surpised that the total bill amounted to 449, wherein the professional fee is 344. Is the professional fees nowadays are really that expensive? Can you share to me how much is the professional fees for other ob gyn doctors in Prince Court? Thank you in advance. Hi all mummies my obs was dr Paul Tay Yee Siang. I was dissappointed with his service. I find that he was impatient in answering my questions during all my consultation hours. You just don't feel good after walking out from his office. I am a professional executive. I knew what I was asking and the responds from him were not detailed and you don't felt he has s stand for any medical advice. Everything is as per what you said. He just followed on your points. He even prescribed wrongly for the antibiotics for me. My toothache started recovered after I have seen another GP with a correct antibiotic. What made me felt most regretful for this unprofessional doctor was I was overdue and he didn't give me a sound professional advice ( judging my baby size, orientation , my pelvis size) so that an informed decision can be made as whether c section or induced delivery to go for. At the end of the day, I went through unnecessarily pains for full dilation, he didn't honour my birth plan also . He broke my amniotic membrane without informed me. I have told the nurse and in my birth plan - minimal vaginal exam and I said I need epidural prior to dr Paul's vaginal exam. But no one listened to me. I had the most painful moments (physically) in my life for that part. After I had full dilation he attempted for only several mins to try to get the baby out .( in total with nurses we spent only 20 mins for phase 3 labour) then I was asked to go for emergency c section. I was so so so disappointed that night. The nurses in pcmc also st top quartile, some are good some can be completely a slacker as they refused to service you and showed black face for entertaining your needs. The process for payment also extremely oh slow. All in all I wouldn't recommend anyone to go to pcmc as the services are not compatible with the bill. Dr Paul Tay Yee Siang is an unethical obsretician. I will definitely not going back to him. suggest others to look for gynae in pantai , gleaneagles or SJMC . Have heard some good stories over there .

Did he support Normal Delivery? Thanks. He supported normal delivery but not at full fledge. He might honour you at that part but he won't try sincerely during labour time. He will get you into emergency c section quickly. This showed that he at one hand supported natural birth (he pretended to listen to you ) but deep down in his heart he can earn more with double deliveries charges. Don't go to him. Try other obs in other hospitals. |

QUOTE(miSera19 @ Apr 29 2015, 11:50 PM) Hi All, I have heard a bad experience from my friend about this doctor. My friend's delivery was by vacuum assisted vaginal delivery. Everything was ok for first few weeks after delivery . After 3-4 weeks, she noticed that she stil have blood clots. She went back to the doctor and discovered that the placenta was not clearly took out! It can be very dangerous if this not done properly. My friends life can be at risk ! Thank God that she went back for diagnosis! Think twice if you want to go back to her.My wife and I just had our first consultation with Dr. Tan Ay Eeng. I have been consult doc regarding the VYI issue or bacteria infection. 1 of the treatment is to buy feminine wash product as the treatment. If the infection was severe, lady can buy cream/tablet which also can treat the issue. As I know, Canesten is 1 of the feminine product that quite popular as it shows effective. If the above solutions doesnt help at all, consult doctor then.
