QUOTE(Kelv @ Dec 1 2006, 09:44 PM) Nowadays chepo plastic cooler selling damn cheap. Only RM18 at pcfair. Saw a plastic cheapo at RM15 only.... claim to be cheapest in PC Fair III 2006 Since the notebook never touch the frame, does it matter if it's aluminium or plastic ? Have anyone tried to make their own customised notebook cooler ?

QUOTE(mervyn @ Dec 7 2006, 09:25 AM) the laptop DOES touch the frame. I'd say the material of the cooler is important. The purpose of the cooler master fan is to cool off the the material, that helps dissipate heat, rather than to blow the laptop. doesn't the tiny rubber legs on your notebook raise it by a few mm from the surface ?
