up the voltage.. us a variable power adaptor that can switch from 5v-12v and hook up via a cheap USB hub with a power inlet,,

A multi DC voltage selector will give you a selection of speeds above or below standard 5v for USB
You can select 3V, 4.5V, 6V, 7.5V, 9V and 12V. |
