That is what he actually did, my friend. He read the text, process it & understand its meaning. You did not wrote the driver is crappy but "miracle driver for their GCN 2.x cards" pretty much saying something wrong with the current drivers that need miracle to improved/fixed them (for GCN 2.x cards). Then again 290/290x is GCN 1.1 cards.

Can you run again with GPU at 1200/1500?

Some people is having the same problem. I don't though. I think it's combination of hardware for thing like that to happen.

I don't need to removed the card physically. All I need to do is disabled Crossfire & reboot with HDMI cable connected to the card I want to test.

Yes, did you look at 290/290x benchmark @1.2GHz? Many 290/290x can do 1.2GHz & I've seen few at least running more than 1.3GHz. For firestrike alone, I can catchup 970 @1.5GHz with 290 @1.2GHz.

I'm pretty sure you can get lower. Plastidip is Plastidip. The price is varied based on brands, colours, effects (e.g. camo), etc.

Computer parts don't get custom tax, unless you buy them in large quantity. You can google what item will get custom tax & which not. If I remember correctly someone shared the list here at lowyat but I didn't bookmark the link. At least based on my experience, a couple computer parts at RM 11XX including shipping don't get custom tax. By my calculation, yeah it will be still cheaper than local price. Local price for lightning is 2000 something right?

It's either corrupted drivers or faulty graphic card. I'm guessing you can run it with DX, then I think it's corrupted drivers. Wipe out existing AMD driver using DDU in safe mode & re-install drivers.

Star Swarm? Yes, I can run the test using Mantle with CFX enabled but only one GPU is being utilized of course.

If you have extra HDD or SDD, fresh windows installation will help you in troubleshooting the problem. I believe this is software problem, not hardware.
