As per title above,
i received a call from a fella that said he is from TM,
he told my name and my address and offer me this promotion from 5mbps to 10mbps by paying extra rm20 every month..
May i know whether this is a scam or its really a promotion given by the TM?
He knows my information of my full name and my house address as me mentioned to me during the call
anyone received this offer before?

No need to wait for them to call you, just call Unifi hotline and make a request will do. They will upgrade it on the spot. The package is called "UniFi Special Discount RM20".
I think there is no more RM30 discount now if I am not wrong, you can double check to confirm.

Looks like they are pushing VIP5 users to get VIP10 instead. Sadly no intention to push VIP10 to VIP20 with similar offer.

I just gave them a call to unifi hotline. According to the customer service lady, the promotion only available to selected customer, and through some agents. Customer service can't provide this discount. Besides, she claims that the discount has ended in March. What the heck? Conflict information.
Btw, I have subscribed unifi more than 2 years, but too bad, I just get a call for RM30 upgrade from 5MB to 10MB twice. Sticking to 5MB doesn't lose that much. I just won't pay RM30 for this upgrade.

No worries, their promo for trying to get VIP5 users to upgrade happens quite often.
