Is this the rite board to post this question?
I own a T7 and the pic is not very clear. Especially at night, theres alot of noise and the picture quality drops dramatically. Now im considering a to get a Sony T30. Because its very slim and the design is nice. It will be convenient for me because i own a VAIO and it has the Sony Memory Stick Duo card reader built inside it.
So i was asking around in shops but everybody had their own opinion. One of them recommended Canon something (6 megapix). He said its because of the lens that extends out of camera. And other claimed that the T30 has extended lens too.. but its moving inside of the cam.
Im looking for something very slim and light. Im not a pro photographer or need extremely clear pic. Its just that i want a better quality picture than my camera phone and clearer videos for personal use and a lilttle bit for blogging. So far, im still on the Sony side.
So is Sony Cybershot T-30 ok? Do u recommended it? Or is it a total junk?

Ur case sound similliar to my current situation too. What i can suggest is: 1. Price? 2. Warranty? 3. Using for short/long term? I thought of changing my DSC-N10 (4years old gadget if not mistaken) into new Sony DC...but due to budget constaint, i plan 2delay the purchase& wait the price drop 1st

RM1700 is kinda ok. The rest is about the same price too. Use until the camera is broken. Haha. Long term i guess. I know these stuff gets outdated fast.. im not really into digital cam.
Edit: ok.. so i didnt know this board existed. Haha. I realized that this question has been asked so many times. And most people voted canon because of its memory card. Well, sony is at my advantage if thats the case. The only thing that bothers me now is the anti shake feature. Some guy reported that the anti shake feature is better in cannon.
Ill test that myself later. Maybe ill ask them to print the pic to compare quality. Anything else I can test at the camera shop?

Frankly speaking, normally ppl will vote the one they owned so the opinion could be biased unless they had tried every single rival products.

But that dosent really matter to me. Haha. Anyway, thanks to the others who posted similiar topic. It seems the diff is not that drastic. So guess i would go for the T-30
