Been using cm 11 before with my s3 and i thought the vanilla android has the same option like the cm11. But the thing is with vanilla android, you cannot choose which setting that you can put there. It also does  not have the option to have other settings like the sound mode, nfc, wifi sharing, and screen rotation.

In the end ive got to install power toggles app to have those settings available on the notification bar but somehow youve got to retain an icon on your notification bar so that it doesnt kill off by android system.

I said what I said cuz my boss use this phone as stock as it gets. He loves it so much. He probably doesnt even know what root is. He always said how amazing this phone. He's from US and most US guy I know, iphone users.

Thats rare, and no root also can use happily what. He probably doesnt even know this thing is in the purest Android form.

Freezing/Remove stock apps/install Google Now launcher still wont get the clean Android. You'll still get the 3rd party system UI, those 3rd party animations, those status bars/system icons.

Battery cannot say also, different usage from different people. I got through a day with stock kernel + stock rom. I dont mind charging whenever I can too.

Camera cannot argue la, its not that good, not bad either.

Speaker, omaigad its really bad. Its loud, but bad.

about the yellow tinting --- is it permanent thingy & how to detect? Coz I suspect mine is affected but can't be sure.

What charger are you all using? The official one only gives output of 800mA on an average 😭

I don't think it has any impact on the battery life as google itself has released official 1.8A charger for the nexus 5.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, it is this bumper he's using.

not sure i am slowpoke but would like to share that in Xposed Framework there is a module called neXus navbarz

installed that and change the softkeys look.... very nice!
