Just got mine in Black today, this is by far the sexiest and most powerful Nexus phone!

I know that I'm late to the party being that I got my N5 6 months after official release date, I checked online that there is a hardware revision fixing wobbly buttons, small sound grills.

I check my serial number on the box, it shows '404' which means I have the latest. No issues so far.

I haven't root my N5, however I have enabled Developer option.

Can I just switch from Dalvik to ART mode to consume power throughout the system?

Just change new sim card and it still stuck at HSPA = ="

Try slot in my father's sim card, it gives me LTE...

No dice?

What carrier? Maxis?

Guys, how do I get the battery percentage icon? The one that has numbering percentage inside a circle?

OK i think i know why, problem solved

May I know how you did it? I have been using Maxis 4G SIM since day one and I have yet to see LTE show up on my N5.

Maybe you need change your old sim to enable LTE, I easily get LTE in Sunway area for UM.

I have new SIM, also with 1GB monthly data.

Perhaps it's the location issue.

@LuffyPSP and everyone, I too have been using my N5 naked since purchase. No SP or case. Although sometimes wear and tear shows but I never drop my phone.

Just hold your phone with firm grip, always separate your pocket for your phone only and you should be fine.

I was relying more and more on Google Now than ever before, so it got me thinking that with any top-of-the-line Android devices, hook it up via wireless display or ChromeCast, we can somewhat use our phones or tablets as hands-free computing. Not completely, but closely.

I can imagine that Android running behind any display connected to WiFi, you can have almost similar experience like Iron Man's JARVIS-style. This is up to Google on perfecting their Android OS.

Oh, and don't forget that what Google Glass can do is what Android can do too. If Google combine both features and integrations together, all apps could be running hands-free.

Since smartphones and tablets these days are nothing more than a giant slab of display, people will eventually get tired of typing on it but instead interact with it on screen.

Purchased quota upgrade and didn't get the data plan, but they suck my credit. Damn Maxis!

I too need to turn on Airplane mode to reboot the network. 3G sucks and don't get started on LTE. No signal inside building. Can't really harness my N5's capability.

Google phone have what benefits?

No bloatware apps or heavy skinned UI, you get smoother and faster Android OS experience. New software updates announced? You will get it first rather than waiting for example, Samsung or HTC to modify then deliver it to you.

Any phone with 3000mAh and above will have great battery already. sad.gif a friend bought a Z2 last night, got it off the shop at 30% at 4PM, last until 2AM. I think its very good. since you know new phone, play with it all the time to the max.
Waaaa last nexus. so sentimental. If its from Google I just get it no matter the price. I have strange affection to Google. But not to the fanboy level.

Then you are an Android fanboy. Technological gadgets don't feel, therefore any certain liking towards them cannot be count as love or affection. You either like it very much or you dislike it very much. Fanboy level or hater level.

Nexus 5 is still a very good phone for its price, I think every flagship smartphones should be less than 2K.
