Hi , i need help my printer cant print , the status showthat offine cant print it ....

btw u can try reinstall the driver and c... it might be some conflict..

This is Printer for the our office , the model KX-P1121 .
I reinstall it just delete the printer then go to control panel add the printer and i install it but the status is offline .......

right click on the printer and set default. U may see if got set to get it online too

i set a default alrdy but status still is offline , ez my step install the printer is using wrong way ??

disconnect the usb printer. install driver and just follow the wizard..should be okay

but my one is adapter dont have the usb , ez ok i plug out and in install it back ??

this dot matrix print maybe old model..u have to find the correct driver for the current OS version u use..ok

If you are using Windows XP or 7, you could use System Restore to restore windows files from the day the problem started. Else look below.

I do not know what OS u are using. But if its Windows XP, you could right click the printer and uncheck User Printer Offline. And it should work.

To check if your printer is working Power off the printer. Now hold the paper feed button and power up. Then release the paper feed button. If the printer starts to print. Then the printer is ok.

To check if the cable is ok, start command prompt. Once u see the black screen type in this

DIR/W > PRN

If the cable and connection is ok, the printer should print a DOS screen capture.

If cannot, suggest u try the printer on another computer first to determine if the PC has something wrong.

Windows XP has the driver built in. Rarely corrupt unless u force overwrite the original files. Windows 7 also have the original files, but they are not preloaded. You need to run Windows Update from add printer to get it.

we have the same printer too, it's a parallel port printer, a dinosaur that isn't exactly extinct yet

check if the port connection to the mobo is lose, you could also use a screw driver to tighten it

parallel type cable? remove and put it back..
download and install driver from link given by h@ksam..
hope the printer hardware still functional(ribbon/toner)..

If Windows 7, do check this. Look for the printer model.
