QUOTE(OMG! @ Jun 9 2014, 03:28 PM) Why less people here talking about BSN FD rates. The rates are pretty high. 1 month 3.00% 3 months 3.00% 6 months 3.05% 9 months 3.10% 12 months 3.20% 15 months 3.30% 18 months 3.35% 24 months 3.40% 36 months 3.40% 48 months 3.50% 60 months 3.75% http://www.mybsn.com.my/content.xhtml?contentId=127due to not so interesting rates + no pidm maybe is the reason?

QUOTE(zenwell @ Jul 21 2014, 02:53 PM) Just placed Maybank Merdeka FD. Is it ok that the cert did not mention the interest for month4-6? The officer told me they will auto adjust it to 3.30, 3.40 & 5.48 respectively for month 4, 5, 6. Anyone have placed this promo FD? QUOTE(??!! @ Jul 22 2014, 02:14 PM) U r rite in that the FD cert does not state the interest for month 4-6. Insisted that i need some confirmation and they gave me a computer print out listing the fd as Merdeka FD and they rubber stamp n sign on it. I placed the same FD today and i'm uncomfortable when the cert itself doesn't mention clearly of the 3+3 FD promo interest. I asked the bank officer to issue me a proper document to go with the FD cert which they reluctant to do so. came back home and checked online on maybank2u my FD cert no. says its a 3 month FD with 3.3% interest rate. kinda pissed since i took half a day just to get this done. Due to my pass bad experience with this bank i'm cancelling the FD placement with maybank tomorrow, I made my mind to move the funds to OCBC for 3.9% deal instead. QUOTE(aeiou228 @ Jul 22 2014, 05:27 PM) 1st of all, the system can't print so many rates on that small piece of FD receipt. So by default only the starting rate was printed. Secondly, the staff should give you the 3+3 Merdeka champaign TnC print out upon request. Go to OCBC la, got printed 3.90% on the receipt. Wah ! you eat snake ar ? Did request this and what i got in return was a pencil hand written behind the FD cert. Even those bank which did the step up promo in the past had their TnC clearly printed. My concern here is i got nothing with me to claim against them in the case where after 6 months i'm being given something else instead of the 3.40% + 4.06% Bank no time entertain ikan bilis like me so better kiasu kiasi than regret later.

QUOTE(BoomChaCha @ Jul 23 2014, 01:32 AM) Ai.. Because not sure if you can take the joke or not..? So, I quick quick changed Jaws to Golden Dragon Fish lo... Better don't play play especially the weather is very hot lately.. 4.25% is still the best rate we have ever heard among all BR kaki fans here.. Don't worry i don't bite well believe at that time my deal with BR was just luck. i would have walked away with 4.23% if i never nego further. well not harm trying as long as you don't bite.
