QUOTE(Gen-X @ Apr 12 2014, 09:59 AM) OCBC BANK - Minimum RM10K. Promo ends 31st July 2014. I think it's First 12 Months 3.6%,remaining 6 months 4%Fresh Funds Options Option 1 - 18 Months Tenure. First 6 months 3.6% and remaining 12 months 4%. OCBC Anyway, from TS's blog, what I could derive is, if I can part with my money for 18 months, OCBC it is, 12 months then Affin Bank it is. Amirite? Amirite? QUOTE(gchowyh @ Jun 6 2014, 02:55 PM) Guess now no need to play musical chair since there is no really attractive deal for the past several months. it's seem a lot of people are into short-term FD ie 3mth & 6mth FD.
juz hope we don't get disappointed if BNM didn't increase OPR rate in July |

QUOTE(davinz18 @ Jun 6 2014, 03:58 PM) it's seem a lot of people are into short-term FD ie 3mth & 6mth FD. Well, for me, I put in BR for 3 months at 3.6%. So no harm even if OPR not changed in July. But based on economic data and what BNM Governor has said in the newspaper, likely for OPR to go up. juz hope we don't get disappointed if BNM didn't increase OPR rate in July |
