http://www.affinbank.com.my/Consumer-Banki...FFINFDPLUS.aspx

How AffinFDPLUS the 1st KLIBOR pegged Fixed Deposit product with HIGH Interest rate returns work?
* Based on 1,3,6,9 & 12 months WEEKLY fixed KLIBOR rate plus range spread up to 0.30% p.a.

Let take KLIBOR 12 month now is 3.71%pa

So the total FD interest is 3.71% + 0.30% ?

Can withdraw on PH or weekend via online banking should be at disadvantage to the depositor. Because you can do nothing except renew at board rate or park your money in MoneyBox account during the PH/weekend. Therefore MACH HLB save from paying depositor 2 days extra FD interest if depositor not renew at board rate.

More worthwhile FD promotions with:
1. at least 4% 12-month placement
2. without CASA requirement drool.gif

Both come with CASA requirement.

The best rate without CASA should be Affin 12-month earning 3.70% & BR 12-month earning 3.90%.

While waiting for BNM's decision to increase the BLR in Sep, I think BR's 3 mths 3.6% is a safe bet but why don't BR up its FD rates? Sifus, pls advise. TQ smile.gif

After Groupon corrected the rate from 3.6% to 4.0%, this may look like a better deal with "free" bags & PIDM-protection... hmm.gif Sifus, advice pls...
