QUOTE(FarhanzackEL @ Apr 14 2014, 12:35 AM) Expeditor is shipping company, SLB Oil & Gas that why asking interview with Expeditors or SLB, SLB using Expeditor for import & eksport Will SLB interview to get a staff and shove him/her to Expeditor? I doubt so...Most likely this position is going to interface with Expeditor? |

QUOTE(iamloco @ Apr 11 2014, 06:38 PM) Hi all. Need help to advice on this matter. No experience with HSBC but SLB is one of the biggest service company in the world. Management Trainee in HSBC doesn't tell much about the job scope. I think it is worth to ask the interviewer what can your wife expects out of the Management Trainee program? How does it works for her exactly? Better not make a decision based on vague information.Which one is better? SLB (Procurement Specialist-Expeditor) or HSBC (Management Trainee)? Please comment in terms of career development, organization culture, work-life balance, and environment Tq for your feedback! |

well SLB is a very good company no doubt...but the position offered is EXPEDITOR....
as far as i know.. job scope only involves chasing vendors/sub-contractors for review and approve documents.....as well as keeping track of project schedule, concurrently..... i think in terms of learning...can learn more as management trainee...provided a strong structured program for it... |

QUOTE(shenshenshen @ Apr 15 2014, 11:21 PM) well SLB is a very good company no doubt...but the position offered is EXPEDITOR.... yea, that's a major winning point for HSBC. Since my wife plans to be a lecturer after gaining industry experience, I believe HSBC will provide sufficient learning ground for this purpose..as far as i know.. job scope only involves chasing vendors/sub-contractors for review and approve documents.....as well as keeping track of project schedule, concurrently..... i think in terms of learning...can learn more as management trainee...provided a strong structured program for it... |
