almost all my gaming mouse got double click issue within 2-3yrs.
They probably design in such a way so that people will buy a new mouse every 2-3 years biggrin.gif
That's business. Anyway, I gave up using Razer products as from experiences, they are flimsy and break quite easily. I prefer Steelseries.

the problem is not just limited to Razer, Logitech also share the same problem due to that lousy omron switch. I literally give up on gaming mouse already, they usually cost 3-5x the price of regular mouse but they dont last 3-5x longer. Might as well just buy regular mouse and change it every time it spoil. sigh.
One thing about gaming mouse is the ability to customise the settings (sensitivity, acceleration, etc) and offer high dpi which normal mouse doesn't. If you play high resolution, you will need that dpi rate so no choice, gaming mouse is still preferred.

I've bought a lot of expensive gaming mouse before and it's really no big deal compared to the cheap ones. In fact, those RM100+ gaming mouse can already do the job most of the time. Currently I'm settled with a SS Rival, don't even bother changing to anything else despite owner SS Sensei & other more expensive mouse before.

anyone tried predator cestus 330? performance-wise looks solid

Mouse is always about whether it fit your hands.
Having the best world class sensor, buttons and materials but the shape doesn't fit your hands, it's completely useless.
Therefore, make sure you feel comfortable with it.

A cheap mouse can also get you plenty of headshots if it fits your hands perfectly, or become a 5K player if you have the skills.

good point. guess it's trial and error then :/

also considering steel series sensei 310, and razer deathadder which i've used before. i had multi-click problems with the razer mouse, wasnt sure if it was software or hardware problem, but it was too much of a hassle to fix.

Usually you can more or less tell from experience if shape of the mouse fits your hands comfortably.
Otherwise, just head to PC shops and try out some demo units. That's what I'd like to do.

Yeah, Razer have weird issues sometimes and in the past, their quality are really bad. I suppose these days are a little better. Ever since I started using back Razer products last year, they seem to be OK.

currently i on falchion cherry mx
(friend has the new nx switches which are really good)
g703 with powerplay soft mat (2-3 years)
changing
gpro superlight with strider (havent tested both yet)

would love to try the new v2 razer mkb
mkb i prefer brands than all this custom kb.
use till it ko and throw away.

I have the Huntsman linear optical, it's very smooth and fun to use, definitely a good gaming keyboard.
Compared to those custom mechanical keyboard that I have, it's still Razer that fits perfectly to gaming with fast response. Those custom ones are only about sound, most of their switches are not as smooth as Razer's.

Except, Razer keyboards are not cheap biggrin.gif

yeah same sentiment.

u saw the v2? heard its pretty good. also expecting asus to be challenging this space where logi/corsair/razer been dominant for long time. falchion really good. what irratates me is the font. the farking W looks like inverted M fir example.

mouse atm razer lineup is just nuts. its like catering to every price point, grip, weight, game genre, freaking color..
*
I haven't really seen the V2 in real life but I'm sure it will carry the same Razer product features which we can be sure it'll fit gaming nicely.
I think other brands are also catching up, some of their stuffs looks very nicely designed.

Razer mouse pads can even customize the color/design if we buy from their website.

nice on snapping headshots increased cause stopping more accurately

also now superlight no problem with this

maybe i changed too many things.. kb gone falchion, mouse went superlight and now pad...
so fingers tired a bit on the kb but getting used to it.. its much much more responsive this falchion
*
If accuracy is good, it means the pad helps a lot with the sensor.
Superlight and fast sounds like we can reduce the dpi a little bit.

I check online, can't get RM 230 for this pad (need XXL). I thought it'll be sub RM 200, out of luck.

1600dpi still provides the best balance of lowest latency with these latest PAW based sensors. Above 1600 the latency decrease tapers off rapidly.

To properly get the balance of stopping power and glide, you gotta match the mouse feets and pad to your preference.
*
LCD resolution are high nowadays, I'm on 3840 x 1600 so 1,600 dpi definitely will not be fast enough.
Any ideas how to go about? I usually do 2,500 - 2,600 dpi on my Steelseries QCK XXL Heavy.

You can always use 3200dpi but lower in-game sensitivity to hit your individual 360°/cm that you're familiar with.

1600dpi was just an example I used. Objectively speaking, there is no reason to use anything lower than that anymore. I know most pros still prefer using 800dpi (median average amongst most FPS games), but they grew up with that setting and it'll make no sense to go to anything different because familiarity = consistency > better numbers.
*
I tried to google but not much information provided.
What would be the difference using 2,500 dpi vs 3,200 dpi + lowering in-game/Windows sensitivity?

The pros usually play at low resolution so no problem with low dpi settings biggrin.gif
